The company holds a license from UK, along with others which are obtained from other jurisdictions. They test their games through NMi, which is a 3rd party auditor. The content is translated into multiple languages, so if you’re from one of the bigger countries, you have a good shot at finding a game that you can play in your native language.
1x2 Gaming has been founded in 2003, and so it’s one of the companies that have been around for a long time now, even though they’re still not quite as large as others. They’re focusing mostly on gambling games with fixed odds, as well as on other casino games, and they give players a different type of experience than other developers. They’re based in Brighton, in UK, with the main offices being in an area that’s a tech hub for the country.
1x2 Gaming Casino Games
As was mentioned previously, 1x2 Gaming has a different kind of focus, compared with most developers that work for the online casino industry. They’re creating all the usual games, meaning that you get slot machines, video poker, roulette, blackjack and so on, but there are also quite a few virtual sports titles and specialty games (Keno, Bingo, Scratch Cards, etc). The experience in the end is not the one that you’d get from a typical online game, especially if you try out their virtual sports content.
A lot of their games are designed in Flash, but that technology is on its last breaths, so now they’re also putting out content in HTML5, which is the future of the industry since it’s easily accessible on all platforms, from desktops to mobile phones or tablets.
The approach that they’re using when it comes to their slot machines, which will require a lot of different themes and designs, is to use humor as much as possible. Their strength is not in the quality of the design, that much will become immediately apparent, but when you look at the characters shown on the reels, chances are that you’re at least going to smile. In total, we know of about 40 titles offered just in the slots category, with many others created for the others.
The theme choices are a mixed bag, some of them being common, others original. In the former camp you would probably put slots like Alice and the Red Queen, Charming Lady Luck or Halloween Horrors, since so many other developers have already designed slots based on them. As for the latter, there are games that are more original, including here Kick A$$, Gingerbread Joy and Yule Be Rich.
The graphics are rarely works of art in the slot machines that 1x2 Gaming releases. They’re not going to be short on details though, and for the most part I found them to be well done, albeit in a style that makes you smile rather than appreciate it for its quality. Though it’s not true of all their games, many of them have only themed symbols on the reels, so this shows that they’ve invested plenty of time into them. Though the level of the design quality is not high, I would say that you will have no problem playing their games, even if you considered this side of the experience to be important.
After looking at multiple slot machines that come from 1x2 Gaming, I can see a pattern in the way the features are structured. A lot of slots of theirs will offer three feature symbols, two of which will be offered in the base game. The wilds and the scatters are the ones that belong there, with an additional symbol during free spins that will pay extra. There are usually multipliers involved as well, used either in the free spins or attached to the wilds.
You’re not really going to see unique features in their games, as it’s not part of their philosophy. They do offer more than one or two features though, and generally their slots are enjoyable because of that.
In most games, I’ve noticed payouts that will reach values of 1,000x or 2,000x at best, and often enough they will be even lower than that. It’s not the kind of developer that offers huge rewards to inspire players to try out their games, but that doesn’t mean that you can’t walk away with a profit from them, since you’re going to get plenty of help from features.
