Depending on the number of reels that are affected, you can get symbols ranging from 2x2 to 5x5.

In addition to the 6x6 reels that you have the regular lines on, there is an extra Bonus Reel, placed at the top of the screen. It spins horizontally and to the left, moving by one position at a time. It is using only the four positions that are placed at the top of reels 2-5. The game uses this extra reel to bring bonus symbols and wilds to the game area. If they have Gigablox reels below them, then they can transform the symbols found there, into the symbol from the bonus reel.

The Huntress herself will be the slot’s substitute symbol. Her appearance, if it’s on the right line, will potentially bring you new winning combinations. Wilds will act as other symbols when possible, but will not do that for the Bonus symbol. If you can get 3 to 6 Huntress Wilds on the same line, they form their own combinations, and pay as much as the top symbol (8x the stake per full combo).

Theme & Design

It’s night out, the Full Moon is in the sky, and a beautiful white-haired huntress is walking alongside the reels, armed with a bow and a sword. It’s not exactly the image that we associate with hunters, but that’s what they chose here. The game area is massive, with 6x6 reels and an extra bonus reel, plus you also get a lot of mega symbols thanks to the Gigablox mechanic, and that impacts the visuals as well.

A total of 10 symbols are used, including the Huntress Wild, the Bonus symbol, four premium symbols (Bear, Owl, Wolf, Buffalo), and four low symbols (card suit icons, crafted out of gemstones).

Conclusion

Hunters Moon Gigablox looks like a decent game for someone that enjoys a unique set of features and a new theme, but that 95% RTP ruins it for me. With so many other slots offering better odds, it doesn’t make sense to spend a lot of time in one that is well below the average.
