Latest Yggdrasil Gaming Slots List

Yggdrasil Gaming is a developer of slot machines first of all, but which also has content related to the lottery and keno categories. They’ve been founded in Malta, by a former CEO of NetEnt’s, and I think that you will agree that the style of design and general philosophy behind their games will show the resemblance between the two companies. They have a short history, being created in 2013, and yet they already have 70+ high quality games to offer and they’re one of the most impressive new companies in this space that I’ve seen lately. The company’s name derives from the mythical huge tree from Scandinavian Mythology, which acted as a door to all 9 worlds, including Asgard, the one where the gods lived.

The company might be based in Malta, but it also has offices in Poland, Gibraltar and Sweden. Their gaming licenses are obtained in countries like UK, Malta, Romania and Gibraltar.

History

Yggdrasil Gaming was founded in 2013 and they obtained their first gaming license that same year. In 2014 they made the move from Flash to HTML5, insuring that all their games are accessible on both desktop and mobile devices. In 2015, they created Boost, a promotional tool that is available in-game, plus they launched the first network campaign. In 2016, they released a sharing tool for social media, allowing players to brag about their winnings, plus they launched Missions and the Yggdrasil White Label Studios. During all this time, they continued to create new games for the online gambling sites that have their content on offer, of which there are about 60 currently. In 2017 they won awards for “Innovator of the Year” and “Slot Provider of the Year”, at the International Gaming Awards and at the EGR B2B Awards, respectively.

Yggdrassil Casino Games

What Yggdrasil Gaming is most well known for is the slot games that they create, superb games for the most part, using graphics and features to their advantage. They apparently have other games as well, related to the lottery and keno categories, but the slot machines appear to be their bread and butter. They’ve created over three dozen titles so far, and they done an excellent job with them.

If you look at their earlier slot machines, titles like Robotnik and Fruitoids, you can see how they continued to improve their work in time, and now you have games like Rainbow Ryan or Valley of the Gods to look forward to. There are plenty other games to enjoy, and as favorites I would mention Beauty & The Beast, Double Dragons and Monkey King.

Those looking for slot machines that offer something unique, will probably find something like that in pretty much any game of theirs, though in some cases it will be the theme, other times the layout or the features. Theme wise, I think that slots like Orient Express, Legend of the White Snake Lady, Nirvana or Seasons will be very interesting and mostly unique. Among the ones that are more common, you will find games inspired by the Irish (Rainbow Ryan), Ancient Egypt (Valley of the Gods), the circus (Wicked Circus), soccer (Bicicleta) or mythical creatures (Double Dragons).

Graphics

One of the things that have made me pay attention to Yggdrasil Gaming’s slot games in the first place was the quality of the graphics in pretty much all titles that they released so far. Some of them might be less interesting because of the choice of theme or symbols, but you can’t ever say that the designers didn’t do their best in actually creating all those images. I look forward to every video slot they create, and I’m often excited once I see what they came up with. I can give you a dozen different examples of slot machines of theirs that I enjoyed because of their graphics, but I will mention just two. One of them is Legend of the White Snake Lady, the other is called Legend of the Golden Monkey. It just so happens that both are games that are inspired by Chinese legends.

Features

Once again, this is an area where Yggdrasil Gaming tends to innovate or at least use features that feel rare. I don’t actually remember any game of theirs where they used only basic features, without doing something exciting to them. Among the names of the features that you can discover just by taking a look at a couple of random slots, you will find Dropdown Wins, Dragon Heads, nudges, free spins, wilds, respins with locked wilds, Count Down Wilds, Sticky Wilds, bonus games and many others.

Payouts

Looking at regular combinations, you’re probably never going to be satisfied with the prizes you get from them. The typical high paying combo will give you around 200-300 coins, which usually means less than $2,000. The bonus features will often have payouts of 5,000 coins, and in one case I’ve even seen a game offer 25,000 coins that way. Either way, there is no questioning the average RTP of their games, which almost always starts at 96% and even reaches 97% in some cases.
