Devils Luck Hotfire Hold & Win combines modern features with classic graphics, and the game area falls in the latter category as well. It's offered by Yggdrasil Gaming and AceRun.
This is a slot with 3x3 reels, giving you only 5 active lines for winning combinations. The potential is better than expected, as it pays up to 5,330x the stake. At the same time, the RTP doesn't go past 94%, and the volatility is High, so it's not all good news. You get a couple of features as well, mostly the Hold & Win respins and their prizes.
While the minimum bet in Devils Luck Hotfire Hold & Win requires just $0.20, if you want to get the most out of this slot, you can spend as much as $25.
Considering the high volatility of this slot, the payouts of up to 5,330x the stake are not bad. What does bother me, though, is the 94% maximum RTP that's mentioned in its case. It's an RTP range as well, so even lower settings are also possible (make sure you stay away from the 90.50% variant).
The regular side of the game is fairly bland, with 3 reels holding classic fruit symbols, which you're trying to form combinations via the 5 active lines that are included.
To get bigger wins in the Devils Luck Hotfire demo, you want to get bonus symbols on all three reels (a collect symbol on reel 2, and 1+ coins for each of the 1st and 3rd reels). That's going to trigger the bonus game for you (it can also happen at random, if you have 1+ coins present). It's a typical Hold & Win feature, just on a smaller setup. There are 3 respins/free spins initially, and the triggering symbols are sticky. The coins landing on reels 1 and 3, worth 1x to 25x the stake, are collected by the bonus symbols that show up on reel 2. New bonus symbols also reset the number of respins back to 3.
Only the 2nd reel bonus symbols become sticky, and they pay the prizes they collected at the end of the feature. This includes both cash prizes and fixed jackpots, going up to 1,000x for the Grand version.
There is also the option to play the game in Max Play mode, where you pay 10x the stake, but you get only Hold and Win style mechanics and symbols. The downside is that coins pay 0.5x to 2.5x here.
The graphics are typical of a lot of classic slots. There are 3 reels that can spin, with fruit symbols present. The devil sits next to the reels, and hell's fire is in the background. As symbols, you will find cherries, lemons, oranges, plums, grapes, strawberries, BAR, and Red Sevens.
It's your chance to check out a simple game that's all about forming combinations or the Hold & Win respins. It's not the only one to try this combination, and the 94% RTP will keep some players away, but some players may find its offer enjoyable anyway.
