Monster’s House Slot Machine Review
Those looking for a decent slot machine to try out, perhaps for Halloween, will find that Monster’s House is one of the better options available at Nemesis. Coming from a smaller studio, which is still in its beginnings, I really like what they managed with the slot’s design. A couple of fairly basic features are introduced as well, so it will not be the most unique game around, and yet it will play just fine if you want something familiar.
Monster’s House offers 5x3 reels, along with 20 paylines. It’s about as vanilla as you get, from a slot machine’s layout. The rewards appear to be decent, with up to 125x paid on a single line (potential could be up to 2,500x, but I couldn’t find info on the cap). The features introduced inside, will range from exploding symbols to wilds, or scatters and free spins.
Betting and Prizes
A bet in Monster’s House will begin from a minimum of only $0.20, enough to send $0.01 coins to each of the 20 lines. As you give the coins a boost, even up to $1, the total amount could reach $20 for each round.
125x the stake is the payout expected from the slot’s top symbol, whenever it forms a combo of 5. Obviously, you could form multiple combinations of this type at a time, and get bigger wins, but I haven’t found the info on the top jackpot just yet. The potential of the slot is to pay up to 2,500x the stake (when forming top combinations on all lines).
Monster’s House Game Features
Monster’s House delivers its own Wild symbol on the reels. It takes the form of a simple logo, so nothing too unusual there. You can use it in combination with regulars, to form new combinations.
Regardless of how you form your wins, you have an exploding symbol mechanic at play here, which will take away the winning symbols and will allow new ones to drop in. Should they lead to more wins, the explosions of the symbols involved continue. It’s a common mechanic at the moment, but still useful.
You’re also going to have a free spins feature, giving you 7, 12, or 18 rounds, in exchange for 3, 4, or 5 scatters (Free Spin logo).
Theme & Design
They went for the scariest theme they could, at least in terms of the symbol choice. They didn’t focus as much on actually making the creatures scary, and it would’ve been difficult to do so, particularly with the cartoon-style graphics they chose to use.
Its symbols will have images of Ash Chainsaw, Butchered, BatBunny, Skeleton Murray, Zombie Cook, Beast Man, Mummy, Anemic Vampire, and The Experiment. The feature symbols are simpler, with logos of the Wild and the Free Spin.
Conclusion
Monster’s House actually looks like a slot machine that could be interesting to play, mostly for a beginner that’s not bored with the standard features yet. The graphics are excellent, and the rewards appear to have decent potential.
