You will find 25 fixed lines in Pirate’s Quest, a slot game with 5x3 reels that can spin each round. Among the big features included with it, there will be Treasure Chest wilds, scatters, free spins, and a chance to boost multipliers to 10x in the long run. The 96% RTP looks fine, but for a slot that pays 2,000x the stake at most, I would’ve wanted a Medium volatility rating, and this one is High.

Betting and Prizes

Each round has 25 lines active, and 25 coins in the wager. Though you’re changing the total amount, between $0.25 and $125, it’s the coin value that is modified at each step of the way, as it goes from $0.01 to $5.

There is a cap on how much this game will pay, and it’s set to $250,000, or 2,000x the stake. The slot is clearly capable of doing better since wilds offer up to 200x the stake for a single line, and the free spins apply up to 10x multipliers to all wins. They kept the winnings lower though, and they still managed to keep a 96% RTP long term, but with High volatility.

I would assume that the RTP is a bit lower if you want to try shorter gaming sessions since you need to accumulate multipliers for the free spins.

Pirate’s Quest Game Features

A bit too common in slot machines, the wild symbol is still quite powerful and profitable over longer periods of time, so I appreciate seeing it each time. It takes the form of a Treasure Chest in this game. It can replace other regular symbols, but what you really want is for it to appear several times on a line since it pays up to 200x the stake for a full combo.

If you look to the right, you will see a meter of sorts, with a ship that advances on the ocean whenever you get Ship symbols to appear on the reels. You start from 1x, and you go to 2x, and then to 3x, and so on. 10X is the highest it will go.

The multiplier that you’re collecting Ships for, will only be used once you trigger the free spins, and then it resets back to 1x.

Regular scatters with the Free Spins logo on them, are going to be used to gain access to 10-50 free spins. You trigger them via 3 to 5 scatters, and retrigger via 1 to 5, though you get 2 to 50 rounds extra then. Theme & Design

Pirates have been plundering and burying treasures for a long time in video slots, and Pirate’s Quest isn’t any different. You will discover a rather average-looking design in this one though, and that’s disappointing if we consider the general level of the graphics in this sort of game.

Pirate’s Quest is a fine game, but it mostly works as something you try out in the short run. I wouldn’t expect its jackpots, graphics, and features to keep your interest for more than a few sessions though.
