Cash Bandits 3 is one of RTG’s new slots, and it’s a game that follows in the footsteps of two others from their collection, as you can figure out from the title. The third game of an already successful series, adds some of the biggest prizes that can be paid anywhere, and it will heavily rely on features and multipliers for that to happen.

A game with the standard setup that mixes 5x3 reels with 25 lines, Cash Bandits 3 ends up being a lot more unusual in other areas. I’m especially impressed with the payouts of up to 2,000x the bet (50,000x the line bet) that are announced, and there will be free spins with up to 23x multipliers to get you there. Progressive jackpots are available, but they appear to be secondary to the game’s own rewards in this particular case. Other features found inside will revolve around the Robber Wilds and the logo scatter.

Betting and Prizes

In the bottom left corner of the screen, you will discover that there is the option to set the bet for the spin that’s coming, and it will cover 1 to 25 lines, with bets of up to $1 for each one. The range for your bets will then go from $0.25 to $25, for a full set of lines.

Now, when it comes to the game’s payouts, things seem to be getting a lot more exciting. Up to 5,000x the line bet (200x the stake) will be the rewards available from individual lines during the paid spins, but get the free spins with the maximum multiplier of 23x, and a jackpot of up to 2,000x the bet would become possible instead (capped by the developer, but the potential would’ve been much higher otherwise). Not very likely, but possible nonetheless.

You will also find that a couple of progressive jackpots are included, the Major and the Minor, though none of these can get to the value of the slot’s own payouts.

Cash Bandits 3 Game Features

The first of the two feature symbols which Cash Bandits 3 uses, is the one with the Robber. Acting as a wild, it will appear from time to time, and when the conditions are right for it, it will substitute for some symbol that you’re missing, and will help you form a combo that wouldn’t have been possible otherwise. It’s a nice way to get more wins and to make the game feel a bit more interesting, but it doesn’t have a huge impact on it otherwise.

Second, there will also be Logo scatters, symbols that you can land in random locations around the reels, in order to trigger the Vault mini game, along with the free spins that would result from it.

Once the Vault feature starts, you are asked to make some picks and break into vaults, in order to find out how many free spins you’re getting (up to 390) and with what multipliers (up to 23x). The potential in a feature with such multipliers is huge, and the rewards could very well get up to 2,000x the round’s stake, which is the limit that’s been set by the developer.

Theme & Design

Once again, we’re robbing banks, but those that are familiar with this slot series shouldn’t be surprised by that. The cute cartoon-style robbers and cops that make up the main characters are as well designed as ever, not much has changed there in regards to the drawing style, but that’s a good thing. From the Robber Wild, to logo scatters, Cop jackpot symbols, Badges, the Police Car, Doughnuts, Money, Banks and Handcuffs, there is a good mix of themed symbols inside, which is to be appreciated.

Conclusion

Cash Bandits 3 follows in the footsteps of its predecessors, and manages to improve on them, giving us decent top payouts, along with the usual cute design that’s been included in all slots of the series so far.

I like the end result, and especially the size of the multipliers that could kick in in some very rare free spins, but obviously the volatility should be on the higher side, and the developer does cap the amount that can be paid, so there are a couple of cons there as well.
