Ape King Game Features
One of the more common feature symbols, and only somewhat helpful when you can get it, the mixed wild/scatter is the one sporting the image of the Pot of Gold. You get it only on the reels 2, 3 or 4 though. When landing there, you can have it in a combo as a substitute, or you can get paid when you have it landing on two or three reels.
There is one big problem with that wild ability of the Pot of Gold, and that’s the fact that you can substitute only for Ape symbols in the base game. During free spins, things change though, and it’s a replacement symbol for all others as well.
Should the Pot of Gold appear at least 4 times in view, these symbols will trigger the free spins then. This is also possible at random, without the required symbols in place.
As the free spins start, there are monkeys placed at the top of the reels, each one with a different amount that’s specified on it.
If Apes appear at least once, the Jungle Battle starts, and it will involve all monkeys found on the reels at the time. Theme & Design
Ape King will get us to the jungle, and will focus its action on the various types of monkeys that live in such places. There are five variants in total, including the Gorilla, Chimpanzees, Orangutans, and more. The lower symbols are getting the six Royals which are often found in such slots, made out of stone and with various colorful vines around them.
Conclusion
Ape King is not the most unique game visually, but I kind of like that it’s trying its own thing during the free spins, and for that alone it might be worth a shot.
