Aladdin and the Genie are back at it, in RTG’s newest release, a slot machine called 5 Wishes. This Middle Eastern story has become quite popular over the years, and the slot developers have particularly latched on to it, using the idea of a wish-granting genie to design some very good games.
They’ve went with a 5-reel slot machine in this case, which has 25 lines active. The player is trying to get one of the random jackpots, to land scatters, wilds, and to trigger the free spins, all these being features of the slot that you may enjoy along the way. If one of the two progressive jackpots triggers, then great, but if not, you can still hope to get a top prize of up to 5,000x the stake, which the slot itself can deliver.

Genie Magic Wilds may come from the 1st reel Genie, at random. It can transform other symbols into extra wilds, using for this purpose icons with the Monkey, Girl or Aladdin.
The Magic Lamp is going to be the other feature symbol, a scatter that you want showing up 3, 4 or 5 times, somewhere on the reels. The game’s reward will then be a feature with 10, 20 or 100 free spins, respectively. You can retrigger this feature, and you also keep getting help from the Genie Wild, so overall it’s quite interesting.
Theme & Design
The theme is one that we’ve seen several times before, it’s far from rare. The idea of a Genie that can grant wishes appears to appeal, and players will generally enjoy these slots. With 5 Wishes, it helps that it’s a very well designed game. As the title implies, this particular genie seems to have 5 wishes to grant. As for the symbols that he relies on, you get the Genie, the Magic Lamp, Aladdin, Jasmine, the Monkey and a Palace. Lower symbols are boring-looking Royals.
