Daikoku Blessings Slot Review & Free Demo Game

Daikoku Blessings Slot Machine Review

Daikoku Blessings slot is a 2020 release from Rival Gaming, which is inspired by the Chinese god of wealth. It’s a game that adds a lot of details to the design, and which will focus for the most part on the same familiar symbols that are typically available in slots dedicated to that part of the world. It’s got some strengths, but there is also a very low RTP inside, which I imagine will keep most players away from it.

Delivering 4096 ways to win on its 6x4 reels, Daikoku Blessings slot makes it fairly easy for players to create their winning combinations, and in fact it’s got low volatility and it looks very accessible. Where it seems to fail, is in actually paying enough to its players, as the 93.59% RTP will be too much of a downside for most. Even with that RTP, wins of up to 1,500x are mentioned for this game’s winning combinations. Ultimately, you get at most 5,000x out of it, so up to 166x the stake, which is consistent with its low volatility. As major features, there are expanding wilds, free spins, multipliers and jackpots.

Betting and Prizes

Its wagers are going to require a minimum of 30 coins, with a denomination of $0.01, from which results a bet of $0.30 at the very least. You increase either the number of coins per line (up to 10), or their denomination (up to $0.25), and you end up with bets of up to $75 per spin.

The payouts might look promising if you were to consider only the huge number of potential combinations (up to 4096) and the fact that each combo can pay up to 1,500x the line bet. There are caps placed on that though, so you walk away with payouts of up to 5,000x, or about 166x the stake. That in itself is not an issue, since the slot has Low volatility and it is not expected to pay a big top prize.

However, the fact that the RTP is at a measly 93.59% is much more problematic, as the game simply doesn’t give you good enough odds to make a profit from it, at least by slot machine standards.

Daikoku Blessings Game Features

One of the feature symbols available to you, the wild is going to have the image of a decorative fish on it. It’s an expanding wild as well, so if new wins may form as a result, the symbol expands to take over all positions on that reel. A 2x multiplier will be applied by the wild, to any wins that it contributes to.

Second, we have the symbol with Daikoku as a scatter. Landing just once on each reel, you need 3 or more in order to get 3 free spins to trigger. In this mode, the free spins have wilds with multipliers that are random, between 2x and 5x.

Random wins may come from the Holy Hammer Jackpot, an event that you have no control over.

Theme & Design

It’s a common choice for developers that are looking to get a piece of the Asian market, the focus on wealth and often enough on the god of prosperity. Daikoku’s temple is the focus here, and the graphics and symbols will rely on that image. We find Daikoku as one of the symbols, decorative fish as wilds, plus regulars that range from dragons, to dolls, amulets, origami, owls, frogs, rice bags, lucky 8s, flowers and three types of coins.

The overall impression is a positive one, the graphics are of high quality and full of great details. However, it takes more than just pretty graphics to make a game good.

Conclusion

Daikoku Blessings slot by Rival Gaming will get your attention with its graphics and its many ways to win, but it will likely lose it if you take the time to learn about its expected RTP, which is extremely low at 93.59%. A game for casual players, it has low volatility, so it doesn’t pay that much usually. I wouldn’t recommend it due to that low RTP though, you will find plenty of games which give you a better chance and can be just as interesting.
