Relax Gaming’s Plunderland is an upcoming release and a slot machine that we’re expecting to launch in the coming months. An early 2022 slot title, comes from a developer that has built its reputation on good graphics and exciting features. I do expect this one to be just as interesting for its players, particularly for those that love Alice in Wonderland (a story that has brought us a lot of great designs in slots already).

Plunderland is a game with Cluster Pays, which gets you paid when forming groups of matching symbols, between 5 and 32+ needed to offer you a prize. The bigger the cluster, the better the prize, but each symbol has a different range there. Up to 500x the stake can be paid by a single cluster, before any multipliers can be applied.
As clusters form, winning symbols get removed and then others will take those new positions. This can continue, until no more new wins form.
The White Rabbit Wild will be one of the major features at your disposal, much more so than in other slots that have substitutes. Here, it also moves towards a designated hot spot, one position at a time, following each cascade/drop of symbols that result from wins.
If it can get to the hot spot, it will expand, taking over multiple positions (between 2x2 and 5x5). This will get you paid as a cluster form, and next the mega wild gets removed. It lands again next, but in a different position, and it tries to reach that hot spot.
One more advantage of the wild is that it comes with an increasing multiplier. To boost it by 1x, you need the wild to be part of a cluster win. It resets between spins.
As it often happens, the real aim is to get to the free spins. You don’t need all 3 required scatters to appear at the same time, but you do need to collect them over a single spin, even if they come from multiple drops. 6 free spins trigger when you get all three Pocket Watches.
What changes for the free spins, is that the multiplier of the wild and the expanded size will both become permanent. You can get to 5x5 wilds, and they will stay that size, they don’t reset to 2x2 between rounds. As for the multiplier, it only goes up, it never resets in this mode.
The story is not a new one, it’s the same Alice in Wonderland theme we’ve seen in dozens of slots over the years. One thing that most of these have in common, is the excellent design, and that’s something we see in Plunderland as well.
The White Rabbit is going to be the wild, in both regular and mega form, while the Pocket Watch will act as a scatter. The regular symbols give us the premium positions with the Red Queen, Magician, and Alice, along with three lower-paying flowers.
Plunderland looks like another winner from Relax Gaming, a developer that’s making a habit of delivering excellent slot machines. Once again, a game with high volatility and plenty of risks, but there are considerable rewards to be claimed as well.
