Among several offers that they make to their partners, there are options for those looking for Powered By solutions, a Silver Bullet program for smaller studios that are looking for someone to bring their content to market, but also their own games which are highly appreciated.
When it comes to their own content, Relax Gaming has popular slot games like Snake Arena, Money Train or Temple Tumble. Plenty more are coming, especially since the Megaways franchise is now part of their offer, and they already released several slots that are based on this game engine.
Relax Gaming was founded in March 2010, by Patrik Osteraker and Jani Tekoniemi, their target at the time being to make this new company one of the top providers of gaming solutions.
In December 2011, the company opened up their operations in Finland. Just one month later, in January 2012, they open another office, this time in Tallinn, Estonia.
It took them a couple of years after that, to release their main Poker product to the market, which they did in March 2014.
2015 started with a major new product release for them, as they launched their own game server, along with a Powered By opportunity for their partners. In July that same year, they launched a Bingo product.
In 2016 they opened their Swedish office, in Malmo. 2018 is the year when they expanded their presence to Malta, and it is also when they hired Simon Hammon, to give their Casino operations a boost. They also released their Plat to Plat casino vertical in 2018. In April that year, they reached 100 employees. They then opened offices in Belgrade, released a program called Silver Bullet for finding studio partners, and then they launched their first network game, with Erik The Red.
In 2019, they released their first branded game, revolving around two personalities, Bruce and Michael Buffer.
Relax Gaming Casino Games
I found a very good mix of casino games in their portfolio, mainly slot machines with modern graphics, both low and high volatility, and payouts at most levels. RTP always seems to be fairly high, they have slots where wins of up to 20,000x the stake are possible, and the game mechanics are more interesting than ever, now that they acquired the Megaways license from Big Time Gaming. All in all, the relatively small game collection offered by Relax Gaming is one of the main things it has going for it.
Fantasy and history will often be a source of inspiration for the slots that they release, and you can see it in a game like Napoleon & Josephine, or in titles like Attila The Hun or Wildchemy.
As of right now, they have 39 games available, 33 of which are video slots, while the others are various other casino games.
I’m a big fan of new slot machines where graphics get lots of attention from talented designers, and Relax Gaming certainly seems to be that type of company. Most of the slots I’ve seen from them have been great. The attention to detail is high, and the designers know what they’re doing. They will still have filler symbols on the reels, with card suits and Royals part of their offer, but there will also be highly relevant and beautiful symbols in more important positions.
Some of my favorite designs can be found in slots like Caveman Bob, Money Train or Attila The Hun, but those are only a couple of examples. Many more great designs are to be found in their collection.
The slots available from Relax Gaming are about more than just pretty graphics. I’ve often found interesting features, and plenty of them, as they don’t skimp on bonuses or types of free spins, to mention just two examples. You will often encounter several types of wilds in a single game (expanding, stacked, spreading, random), re-spins, free spins, bonus games and symbol transformations.
While some games from their collection will reach dizzying heights, with 20,000x rewards mentioned in a slot like Money Train, up to 29,794x in Heroes Gathering, and 7,767x for Temple Tumble Megaways, there are plenty of others which reach only 500x. What this means is that you will get both slots with Low and High volatility, and even some options in the middle.
RTP wise I’ve always found their slots to be fair, with an RTP above 96% being standard for them.
Overall, I haven’t found anything to complain here.
