Pragmatic Play's collection of candy-themed slots has a new release, and it's called Sweetie 6. It's still a candy world, and you get your wins through scattered symbols, but you will find some unique mechanics in there as well, so it's well worth checking out, especially with the progressive jackpots that are also included.
Sweetie 6 has 6x5 reels and allows wins to form via Scatter Pays, so the symbols don't have to be connected to each other. Wins of up to 5,000x the stake will be the best it can do, but it manages this while volatility is medium. It also adds the progressive jackpots to that offer, but then the RTP is at 94.53%. For its main features, it has multiplier wilds, tumbles, and the Candy King reels.
It's not as cheap as other slots, but $0.50 per spin is still an OK bet to use as a starting point. Options to spend as much as $250 per spin are available.
Sweetie 6 feels like an accessible game for the most part, and a lot of that comes from its medium volatility, where bigger prizes aren't impossible to get. On the other hand, the 5,000x top jackpot is still going to be hard to reach, and the 94.53% RTP will add to that. The game has progressive jackpots as well, in variants such as Mini, Maxi, Mega, and Giga, and they get paid randomly to the slot's players.
Following any winning combination, which requires 8+ matching symbols landing anywhere on the reels, you will get a Tumble to remove winning symbols from the game area. New symbols drop and can bring you additional wins, and the tumbles will continue as well.
The multiplier wild is represented by the image of a golden bomb. It lands with a random multiplier, with possible values ranging from 2x to 100x. The game adds up the multiplier values if 2+ wilds are present and contribute to a win together.
The one unique mechanic of the game takes the form of Candy King Reels. The game picks one of the reels to become the Candy King Reel at random. Additional Candy King Reels are chosen for each tumble that follows for that spin. Once they're all marked, the game can randomly add wild symbols with multipliers to the reels.
You're looking at a fairly common-looking design, with a candy world and pastel colours behind the reels, while in the game area you find symbols with various sweets (from jelly beans to gummy bears, lollipops, muffins, chocolate, or candy cane).
Sweetie 6 is not a very complex slot, and the RTP doesn't go high enough, but it also incorporates progressive jackpots, looks great, and uses the Candy King Reel mechanic to reward lucky streaks. Overall, it's an alright choice for the fans of the candy genre, but not something everyone should play.
