Star Jackpots is one of the slot machines that Pragmatic Play is releasing and it is a title that’s based on the idea of luxury, selling us the image of a young billionaire that’s drinking cocktails and wearing expensive watches.
The slot’s layout involves 50 active lines and they are used on 5 reels of 4 symbols each. You can get paid fairly well, either through one of the four progressive jackpots or through a fixed prize that can reach $125,000. Your features will consist of bonus games, stacked wild symbols, scatters and free spins with random extras.
Betting and Prizes
You are going to play with 50 active lines, which require that you have wagers of 50 to 500 coins used for each round. You can set up the number of coins per line, obviously, plus the denomination that they will have, ranging from $0.01 to $0.50. You can end up placing a bet as small as $0.50, or you could increase it up to $250.
The prizes that are available in Star Jackpots are going to bring you one of the four progressive jackpots that are offered at random, or they could get you paid very well through the slot’s own features. Those include a payout of up to 500x total bet, which could mean $125,000 cash for you. The RTP is extremely low, at least for a modern game, being mentioned at 92.02%, and based on that I’d already say that you should skip this game.
Star Jackpots Slot Features
One feature that I’m convinced that it will get the attention of a lot of players will be the one showing the attractive young woman. This one is the stacked wild symbol, which means that you will have it appear on the reels and potentially cover more than one position when this happens. All the reels can get these wild symbols, and so they are going to form combinations directly as well, paying the highest amount that you can get without getting into the features. You will not have it replace scatter symbols and it will not be used during the free spins either.
Star Scatter symbols are among the least impressive symbols that you’re going to see in the game, but that’s just the visuals. The feature is a solid one otherwise, being used on the reels 1, 3 and 5 as a scatter. You get all three and the result is a small cash prize, along with a bonus feature that is triggered for you.
The bonus feature will give you a choice between three items and the game will deliver one of four possible prizes. You could get free spins with one of the two types of features, a high award (10x to 500x total bet) or a small award (1x total bet). The High Award is the one that can pay the most in this game, up to $125,000 (500x total bet).
If you got the free spins instead, then you will trigger one of two possible variants. You could have 10 free spins with Raining Wilds, which are added at random on the reels each round. The alternative would be 6 free spins with Sticky Wilds (they remain in the random location where they’re placed). Regular wilds and scatters don’t appear on the reels though.
Theme & Design
It’s a relatively simple theme, with a couple of luxury related images present among its symbols, along with the four card suits and with things like cherries. It’s not a particularly impressive slot machine, not in this area anyway.
Star Jackpots has its progressive jackpots to offer, along with a huge bonus feature payout, but otherwise there are plenty of things to be dissatisfied with, the average RTP being the main one.
