Playson is working on a new series of slots, called Seven and Fruits Slots. They came up with a variant called Sevens & Fruits 6 Reels for the first title of this new collection, and it’s a game that delivers a bigger set of reels, but otherwise retains many of the features and graphics of the oldies. More on what it’s like, below.
Sevens & Fruits 6 Reels has 6 reels of 3 symbols each, but only 5 active lines for you to use. Luckily, they pay both ways. To be mentioned in its case, would also be the Golden Star scatter, as its main feature. Those few lines might not suggest that, but the game has only Medium volatility, and RTP is at least acceptable, at 95.82%. A very good top payout, of 7,500x the stake, appears to be a possibility with this game.
The full betting range allows all players to try out this slot, with a minimum allowed at $0.10, and the maximum reaching $100.
What we know so far about Sevens & Fruits 6 Reels, is that the game’s volatility is Medium, which means that even though the number of lines is quite small, the risks are not huge. You get a 95.82% RTP game to work with, which once again is acceptable, as it is within the limits that most modern slots find themselves in. If we look at the payouts involved, up to 1,500x the stake could be paid per line, and up to 7,500x total for a single spin, which is more than OK.
What you don’t get as much of, is features. Sevens & Fruits 6 Reels relies only on its ability to form winning combinations both ways, so the symbols can be aligned both left to right, and right to left.
There is only one extra feature symbol that you will discover on the reels, and that’s a Golden Star scatter. As the name suggests, it can appear anywhere on the reels, and the result will be a reward being paid. Depending on the number of symbols involved, and on the bet of the spin, the amount coming to you can vary considerably. Up to 100x the stake is offered in a single round, which is a lot lower than what you can trigger via regular combinations of symbols.
This really isn’t the type of slot machine to go after, if you’re a fan of big features and having lots of action.
As a game which is part of a series called Timeless Fruit Slots, originality is not something you should be expecting. It’s a fruit themed game, with classic symbols showing up on its reels. The style of the design isn’t very different from the oldies either, and the background image is just an abstract mix of dark red and black. On the reels, you find the Gold Star as the scatter, while among the fruit symbols you will find Melons, Plums, Oranges, Lemons and Cherries.
With a big game area, and only 5 lines, wins don’t come as often as I’d like in Sevens & Fruits 6 Reels, but at least the potential is there for excellent rewards to come your way. Big wins, but make sure you get ready for long dry spells before you come close to them.
