Relying on the usual high-end graphics that Playson seems to deliver in each slot machine, Book of Gold: Double Chance has the right look, but that doesn’t make the category it is in any less crowded. Let’s see what else the game offers, and whether it manages to surprise in any way.
With Joker Expand: 40 Lines, Playson is adding to a series of slot machines which all revolve around the image of the same Female Joker. One other game from the series has only 5 lines, so in this case we’re looking at a game with better chances of keeping things entertaining.
A beautiful game from Playson, which gets us to the 1930’s Chicago, it will obviously take its inspiration from the mobsters of the time, the ones that fought hard during the prohibition to make money. There are some excellent jackpots to be had thanks to it, there are awesome graphics and the experience of Playson to take into account. They all add up to a pretty awesome slot machine.
Phoenix Fire is not quite a modern game if you look at its design, classic for the most part, though the Phoenix Bird theme does work well and turns it into a game that you can play without getting too annoyed with the graphics. It’s a Playson release, so despite the classic theme you’re getting a design from a developer that knows what it’s doing.
While the typical expectation of a Playson slot machine is for it to be a modern title, with gorgeous graphics, with Super Burning Wins they delved into a category that isn’t as familiar to them, that of the classic 3-reel slot machine with a fruit theme.
Among the many Ancient Egypt slots that we get each year, there is this one from Playson, called Rise of Egypt. It features Bastet in the main role, the cat goddess, a warrior and a protector in the ancient civilization’s culture. It’s a game with high end graphics, with a boring theme and with several other pros and cons to its name, about which you will learn more from our review.
Though there is no shortage these days of simpler slot machines, Joker Expand 5 Lines appears to be giving us more of the same, as a game that has a joker and fruit related theme and few features for us to explore. Its layout doesn’t appear to be too elaborate either. As for the developer that worked on it, we’re talking about Playson here, which has a good reputation for offering games of high production value.
Sporting a theme that feels like one that we’ve seen countless times before, God of Wild Sea has Poseidon as its focus, along with the kingdom of the sea that he’s ruling over. The God of the Sea from Ancient Greece is beautifully designed in this slot, and I can say the same about the rest of the game’s images.
Burning Wins is the game that Playson proposes to those players that are still big fans of a genre of slot machines that got their start over a century ago, as the era of this type of gambling started. The slot machine was simple back then, and some still prefer it that way, with as few features as possible, with a couple of lines and only 3 reels. Add the fruit icons as well, and that’s what Burning Wins offers the player, but in a modern design that’s not expected from most such titles.
If you’re really into classic themed slot machines, but you love getting features and a lot of lines to win on as well, then a game like 40 Joker Staxx might be right up your alley. The slot machine has been announced by Playson, a company that usually does much more elaborate titles, but even here you can see the quality of the design in a couple of symbols.
Sevens & Fruits is a new release from Playson, but you’d be forgiven if you mistook this slot machine for an older title. It’s the title and the gameplay style that are responsible for this first impression, since the basis for the game comes from classic slots with fruits and sevens, just as the name suggests.
Claws vs Paws is a Playson game, where we’re seeing the classic fight of dog vs cat, or good vs evil if you will. The game also has a robbery theme, so the cat is the one doing the stealing, while the dog is the cop and tries to catch it. It’s going to be a slot with a high-end design and a lot of cool features, so keep reading and find out everything that it offers.
Playson’s Kingdom of the Sun relies on the extremely popular theme of Ancient Egypt, which they, along with many other developers, have used a lot of times in the past. Right out of the gate, it’s clear that a big strength of this slot machine is going to be its design, one of the best that I’ve seen, even among the many that make up the Ancient Egypt category.
Legend of Cleopatra, from Playson, proves once again that the Egyptian queen is the woman that inspired the largest number of slot machines. It’s a much more unique design and gameplay style than the rest of the games that were inspired by Cleopatra, and that’s its main advantage in this competitive niche.
Fruits’N’Stars, the Holiday Edition, is offered by Playson as a slot machine that you can play during the winter holidays, something inspired by Christmas obviously. There will be plenty of winter and holiday related graphics inside, but there are also a lot of classic fruit symbols present, and so it’s not as interesting as I wanted it to be.
Crystal Land is a game that Playson released right before the winter season, yet it has a very sunny disposition and a look that makes you smile. The cartoon style game has a gemstone and crystal theme, along with gameplay that’s featuring a different type of experience for the player.
Viking Gods: Thor & Loki is coming from Playson and it is a release that was programmed for October 2017. The game’s theme is obviously borrowing from the mythology of the Scandinavian region and both Thor and Loki have been figuring among the major characters of several superhero films released in the past decade.
Fireworks Master is a gorgeous Chinese fireworks themed slot machine that Playson has created and released in 2017. The game has the graphics that will allow it to stand shoulder to shoulder with any other slot machine, and it has a number of unusual features and gameplay decisions that make it interesting.
Clover Tales is a story of a leprechaun, a jolly character with red hair that’s shown as he’s relaxing in a rocking chair and smoking a pipe. The game’s coming from Playson, it has an increasingly common theme to show the player, but it manages to look interesting nonetheless, thanks to the very high quality of the design (choices of theme and symbols notwithstanding). You can hope to land payouts of up to $2,500, but that’s not all that the game will offer. You will discover a Rainbow Line feature, expanding wilds, re-spins and free spins. The slot has the standard 5 reels, 3 symbols for each column, but only 9 lines were selected for it.
Fruitful Siesta is indeed a fruit themed slot machine, but it’s not a classic and it doesn’t have the dated graphics that you’d expect from a game using these symbols. Instead, it’s one of the best looking games that I’ve seen sporting symbols with cherries and bells on its reels, and it’s all thanks to Playson, which created it.
Marioni Show is a magician’s slot machine, a game of tricks and horror like creatures, all visible in a large doll house that’s placed on the stage in front of an audience. It’s a Playson designed slot machine, which features a gorgeous design.
Time Warp Guardian is a slot machine that is being offered by Playson, featuring a theme that appears to revolve around a heroine that travels in time in order to protect the timeline. It’s got a futuristic look to it, with an excellent design, plus an interesting mix of features.
Treasures of Tombs: Hidden Gold is the second slot machine in this series that Playson releases, and just like before the action revolves around a young blonde woman, an adventurer that’s going into Ancient Egypt’s pyramids to find their secrets.
