One of quite a few Playson slot games which offer a fruit theme and very simple gameplay, Imperial Fruits: 5 Lines is obviously going to have 5 paylines. The imperial connection is only visible in one symbol, but more on that below.
You are going to get only 5 lines from 5 reels, which is obviously not a lot. The game’s wagers do tend to go quite high with the line bet as a result though, and wins of up to $200,000 are possible while playing it. Features only have an expanding wild and two types of scatters to give you, but no free spins or bonus games.
As with plenty of other games that you can get from Playson, the betting system will give you several options to choose from directly. You can select the value that you prefer, and the game will always activate 5 lines with it. With the total bet going from $0.10 to $100, the line bet varies between $0.02 and $20.
Payouts of up to 400x the stake are available in Imperial Fruits: 5 Lines, for each combination formed. The Red 7s are the ones to look forward to, as they pay the most, and if you fill the reels with them the rewards could reach 2,000x the stake ($200,000). Obviously, the expanding wilds can have a major role in helping you get those 5 full combinations.
This isn’t the game to play, if you’re interested in elaborate features in your slots. What you get here is just feature symbols, interesting enough ones, but they don’t result in any additional features. Don’t expect free spins or bonus games from Imperial Fruits, the classic roots of this slot machine are clearly showing.
The Imperial Crown is about the only symbol that has the imperial vibe going, the others being all on the fruit side of the theme. This wild symbol is available only on the middle three reels, but on the plus side it acts as an expanding symbol, so it covers the three positions of the reel it lands on. The expansion occurs only if this gets you a new winning combination.
As for the scatters, two of them are used, both Star symbols. The Gold Star scatter is available on all reels, and with three to five visible, you get paid as much as 100x the stake.
The other scatter is the Diamond Star, and it’s available only on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels. The three, when they’re all visible in the same spin, will pay 20x the stake.
You don’t get a lot of features, obviously, but then again the players looking for classic fruit slots might not want elaborate options anyway.
Imperial Fruits is mostly about fruit symbols, an Emperor’s Crown being the only one that looks imperial inside. Otherwise, you get classic symbols, such as Red Sevens, Stars (gold or diamond versions), watermelons, grapes, pears, plums, cherries, oranges or lemons. The quality is not bad, it’s a modern design, but the theme it covers is obviously fairly old.
Imperial Fruits is part of a larger collection of fruit-style 5-reel slots that Playson offers, and it’s something that works out well for players which prefer a simpler experience.
