If you’re really into classic themed slot machines, but you love getting features and a lot of lines to win on as well, then a game like 40 Joker Staxx might be right up your alley. That 40 of the title isn’t there for nothing, instead signaling to the player how many active lines are going to be available each round. The features will include several simple ones that you will appreciate, such as a wild symbol and a scatter.

40 Joker Staxx delivers its highest individual win via scatters, symbols that need only appear five times on the reels, for you to get paid up to 200x the amount wagered. Up to $20,000 can be won this way. The alternative is to form one or more winning combinations with only wilds in them, each one paying $4,000. The slot has an announced RTP that’s quite good, set at 96.42%, a number that should be considered for the entire lifetime of the game, as your experience may vary wildly.
I wasn’t very impressed with the feature list overall, but a slot machine that offers this type of theme rarely does things differently. Only two features were provided in this game, a wild and a scatter, both acting and paying as they do in every other slot. If you want something unique from your games, 40 Joker Staxx is clearly not the kind to do that.
First, let’s check out the wild feature, which in this game will be represented via images of a Lady Joker. The Joker symbol is used directly, forming combinations with other wilds and paying quite well as a result, but it can also be the usual replacement that you will get in all sorts of wins. The only requirement is for it to be exactly in the position where it can help you out, as its simple presence will not be enough if it’s not on the right line.
Second, we also get access to a scatter symbol, a Gold Star. While in other slots this will be used to trigger some sort of feature as well, in 40 Joker Staxx it’s only a trigger for cash prizes. These are the best prizes that the game can offer though, with up to $20,000 available if all five are visible on the reels and if you have the maximum bet selected.
Theme wise, 40 Joker Staxx is all about the classic side, a category in which I’d put the Joker symbol as well, even though it’s a woman taking on the role here. The others only serve to make the argument stronger, with images ranging from 7s, to bells, stars or fruits (grape, watermelon, lemon, plum, cherries and orange).
40 Joker Staxx is a decent looking game, and that’s a bigger argument in its favor than you might imagine, particularly for a classic themed title. It’s also sporting a good RTP percentage, something else you don’t always find in such slots.
