Do you like your games with a bit of science fiction splashed in, but you don’t mind if it gets cartoon-like when it comes to design? Fallen Alien is just that type of slot machine, a new Merkur release which has cartoonish graphics of very good quality and a theme that while you do get often enough in such games, it doesn’t seem to ever get old.
They chose a 5-reel setup, 3 symbols on each one, along with 20 paylines. The game’s capable of delivering wins of up to $2,500 on each line, up to $50,000 total in a single round, all while the RTP of 96.64% tells us that it’s going to be a decent pick long-term. Among the better features that I’ve seen from the game, there are scatters, free spins, a Wheel feature, a Planet Bonus and wilds.
You select the total bet for the round directly, without any mention of the number of active lines, though we know that there are 20 always present. The smallest wager available, of $0.20, will send $0.01 to each of those lines. At the other end of the betting range, you can have a line bet of $2 and a total bet of $40.
Moving on to the bigger prizes that the slot can offer, it’s going to come from the combinations formed only with wilds, those offering $2,500 at most (1,250 coins), so up to $50,000 when covering all the reels and lines. That is a return of 1,250x the stake, which is acceptable for a modern slot machine. I’m also fairly happy with the Return to Player, of 96.64%.
First, make sure you check out the game’s Wild Alien, the symbol which is both a replacement for regular symbols, and the one to create the best paying combo (1,250 coins for five wilds on the same line). Even better, this is an expanding wild.
Scattered Green Aliens are also important, as you use them when there are three or more present anywhere, to trigger 15 free spins and pay a prize of up to 100x the stake. As the feature ends, you get the option to spin the Wheel, for a multiplier of up to 4x, which applies to all the wins obtained up to that point.
Another decent feature will come in the form of the Planet Bonus. This one’s triggered by landing three Green Planet scatters, anywhere in view, on reels 1, 3 and 5. It’s a simple picking feature, where you have five UFO ships to choose from, and then get a prize.
It’s a UFO and alien themed slot machine, which has several intelligent creatures from other worlds, shown here as they crash land on Earth. They come from a Green Planet, which we see in one of the symbols, while others will give us the Aliens (four of them, two of which are feature triggers), a space suit, UFOs, ray guns and Royals.
I enjoyed the design style chosen for this game, as well as the quality of its graphics. It’s a cartoon-style slot, good enough to be used for an animation movie or a comic book.
Fallen Alien looks like a fun slot machine, for anyone that enjoys futuristic content, a game with an above average RTP and good features.
