Book of Easter Slot Machine Review

A Book-style slot machine is not unusual, we’ve seen likely hundreds of such releases already, from a lot of different developers. Swintt proposes a variant that is inspired by the Easter holidays, and that might just give it enough of an edge over its competitors, at least for a couple of weeks each year.

Book of Easter will come with a setup that’s familiar, where 10 paylines are active on 5x3 reels. Wins of up to 4,434x the stake are on the table, but the regular side of the game has a low RTP, of just 94.23%. The features that you can count on, range from Book Wild/Scatters, to free spins with expanding symbols.

Betting and Prizes

The minimum bet in Book of Easter is worth just $0.10, and that will be enough to send $0.01 to each of the 10 paylines. The wagers can be much higher, if you can afford to spend up to $40 per spin.

Its rewards can look good to a beginner, but for someone familiar with the Book category, they could’ve done a lot better. 4,434x the stake is the most that they will pay in Book of Easter, while the average Book slot pays 5,000x or more.

Book of Easter Game Features

Pretty much like it always happens, the Book symbol is going to be the star of the action, being used as both wild and scatter. It all depends on how you can get it to land, and how many times it is visible on the reels. As it’s a wild, it will assist in the formation of any new wins that can happen on its own lines.

It will also pay, either by forming winning combinations of 2-5 symbols (1x to 200x the stake), or as a scatter symbol (3-5 scatters pay 2x to 200x).

The way into the free spins is open when you get 3 or more Book symbols to appear. You get 8 free spins at that point, along with a randomly selected expanding symbol. Only the regular symbols are considered for this role.

Theme & Design

Conclusion

Book of Easter is an interesting addition to a huge category, but only because of its theme. The rewards and RTP are both lower than the average, and its features don’t bring anything new and exciting to the genre either.
