One of the dozens of new slot machines that are coming out from Stakelogic’s studio this year, Origins is expected to launch in the last few weeks of 2022. The company has a certain way of doing things, and a unique theme isn’t always a given with them, but I’m looking forward to this one. You will discover a caveman-themed design, something well-made and fun-looking.
Origins propose a setup with 5x3 reels, populated with 10 win lines. The chance to pursue a 10,000x top jackpot is there for you, in a slot that has medium-high volatility, along with a 96.01% RTP. You should also expect to get help from its wilds, Super Hold symbols with respins, or free spins with a collection mechanic and up to 5x multipliers.

First of all, Origins comes with its own wild symbol, a substitute that they’re making available only on the last four reels. This allows it to help you form more combinations, but it doesn’t create its own. Don’t expect it to replace feature symbols either.
Stacked Mammoth symbols are among those feature triggers. Landing fully visible on the first reel, these symbols will trigger a respin feature. It’s got 3 respins, and you’re trying to get more Mammoths to land. Each one adds 1 extra respin when it shows up. You get paid at the end of the feature.
The final feature would be the free spins, with up to 20 rounds delivered via 3 to 5 scatters. The game uses a special symbol, picked at random, which displays prizes. To collect those prizes, you need Collector symbols.
You get those Collector symbols in their own meter, and for every four you will retrigger the feature. There are 10 spins and a 2x multiplier offered the first time, 8 spins with a 3x multiplier the second time, and 6 spins with the multiplier at 5x for the third time this happens.
It’s a lovely design overall, of high quality, and the caveman theme is also somewhat rare (though not unheard of). There is an entire family of cave people serving as the top symbols, while the rest range from scissors made out of animal skulls, to flint knives, spears, an axe, and a club.
I loved the graphics and the general style of the Origins slot game, but the features are pretty good as well. Interesting, fun to play, and well made, these are all things that recommend the slot.
