Mega Runner Slot Machine Review

Coming from Stakelogic, Mega Runner is going to have a classic design, with the appropriate choice of symbols and graphics style in order to make that happen. While the graphics take us a few decades back in time, the features make an attempt to keep things interesting, but it’s not going to be enough to get the attention of a modern player.

Mega Runner slot has 5x3 reels, with 15 active lines arranged within them. It’s not the sort of slot to pay big, only 60x the stake even if you get really lucky, but that’s what a true low volatility title is capable of. Of course, having a reduced RTP of only 95% isn’t helping it much. As for the major features, there are some optional wilds that you need to pay extra for, along with Star symbols and their prizes.

With those 15 active lines, Mega Runner uses 20 coins for its bets. $0.20 is the minimum bet in this case, while the maximum one could reach $200. It’s entirely up to you.

Theme & Design

As I’ve already mentioned, Mega Runner’s theme is a classic one, and it screams it through every single section of its design. Check out the background image, and you will figure out that the slot machine is placed on the floor of a casino, though you don’t get a clear picture of it. The graphics quality is the same one that land-based machines would’ve had in the 20th century, so it’s likely a decision they made in order to keep it a classic.

The symbols show it most of all. Besides the Star and the Wild special symbols, the others are oranges, plums, pears, bells, strawberries, watermelons, grapes, and Sevens.

Conclusion

Overall, Mega Runner feels like the sort of slot machine that could work only because of the nostalgia factor. If you want a game that you could find in a land-based casino, then it could work. But you’re getting a very low RTP and some of the lowest top prizes around, so it better be something you enjoy, because you will not get rich playing it.
