Hold4Timer is a Stakelogic release, and a slot machine that was designed to appeal to a certain type of player, that still enjoys a classic design, as dated as it might look like these days. The use of a varying number of reels, along with the other features involved, do help make it stand out by comparison with every other classic you might’ve seen so far.

You are playing with either 3 or 6 reels, and there are anywhere from 5 to 20 active lines. Hold4Timer pays up to 200x the stake while using its regular combinations. Features that should be mentioned, include the Super Stake, Hold option, Wilds, and Double Symbols.

Betting and Prizes

Selecting 1 to 4 sets of 3 reels to play on, allows you to juggle with your wager. $0.20 to $10 is the amount required to activate a single set of 3 reels, while with all four active you need $0.80 to $40. Add the Super Stake option as well, and you double the wager, reaching a maximum of $80 per spin.

Rewards of up to 200 coins are paid on each line, so 200x the stake is the most that a player can claim for a single spin. The RTP is not at a high level, only 95.01%, but it’s still a playable slot if you enjoy everything else about it.

Hold4Timer Game Features

You have a total of 6 reels that you can use, but you can’t form combinations with more than 3 symbols. So, the way they use it is as a basis for 4 sets of reels, each one with 5 lines. The first 3 reels constitute the first set, the reels 2-4 are for the second one, 3-5 for the third, and then 4-6 for the fourth set. As you can see, the sets of reels share some of their symbols. You need to decide to activate the additional sets though, as this costs extra.

Super Stake is an interesting extra bet, which will double the amount you spend that round. It is available only for spins where all four sets of reels are active.

It will be used to add wild symbols to the game area, and to allow for the Auto Hold option to become active. Get a stacked wild to cover one of the reels, and it will be sticky for the next round.

As for what the Wild is like, expect a regular substitute, which is going to be useful when forming combinations of other types. You can also form combinations with only wilds, the pay being 200 coins for a covered line.

You will also encounter Double Symbols, which have a Moneybag next to fruit. You can claim a special prize when you get three of these Double Symbols to appear on the same line and form a combo. They can be combined with regular fruit symbols of that type, but they don’t pay the special prize then.

Theme & Design

Hold4Timer comes with a classic fruit theme. The design is busier than in a lot of other classic games, but it manages to offer something special through it. The dated style of the graphics is going to be appreciated by some players, but it’s not for everyone.

For its symbols, there is the Money Bag with the Stakelogic logo on it, along with the Crown, Watermelon, Seven, Raspberry, Lemon, Pear, Plum, and the Orange.
