Mighty Black Knight Wonder 500 is a modern and more powerful version of a classic game from Light & Wonder. They’ve added Mighty Reels that expand and add more lines, and if you enjoyed the original, you might want to check this version as well.
Starting with a setup with 50 lines on 5 reels, Mighty Black Knight Wonder 500 could end up with 100 paylines once an expansion occurs. You get free spins and Mighty Reels as two of its biggest features. What I’m not crazy about, the RTP is at 94% or lower.
It is a tad more expensive to check out than other slots, with a minimum bet of $0.80. The maximum bet is $25.
It’s not mentioned specifically how much Mighty Black Knight Wonder 500 will pay, but they claim that the slot’s wins are capped at $250,000. It’s not an amount I’d find possible since winning combinations pay up to 1.50x the stake, and there are only 100 lines in total. On the other hand, wilds do expand and may help you get many wins during the free spins.
The Knight symbols will be your regular wilds, symbols acting as substitutes for most symbols. The bonus symbol is the only exception.
Having Knight Wilds on the reels will trigger the Mighty Reels. The upper portion of the reels, locked initially, will be unlocked, and you will get twice as many active lines simultaneously (going from 50 to 100 lines). The wilds expand to take over the entire large reel.
The main feature will consist of 8 to 20 free spins, with the bonus symbols appearing 3 to 5 times to trigger it. It’s also possible to get additional free spins once the feature begins. You start with the regular setup active, but you can unlock the larger reels along the way.
With a European Medieval theme, Mighty Black Knight brings us inside a castle, and the reels are placed in the middle of a hallway. There isn’t much decoration going on, just the stone walls on both sides. The reels are tall, but not all positions are active. As for the symbols, besides the card suit icons, you will also see images of the King, Queen, Crown, Ring, and a few others.
Overall, you’ll find an older slot machine with the Mighty Reels mechanic inside and a lower RTP than I’d find reasonable. I wouldn’t recommend it, but that’s only on the RTP; the game is fine as it is.
