I’ve seen a lot of great magic themed online slots over the years, and so I’m looking forward to this new release from Scientific Games as well. Dave Lame: Bad Magician promises to have a humorous design and theme, but we will see if that’s the case once the launch date comes closer. When done right, these games can be quite enjoyable.
Dave Lame: Bad Magician is a game with a regular game area, 5x3 reels giving the player a total of 20 active lines. Wins of up to 5,000x the stake ($250,000 cash) can be claimed by its luckiest players, and this is all coming from a slot with medium volatility and a RTP of 96%. There will be a decent mix of features as well, such as wilds, bonus symbols, several types of free spins, and multipliers.
Starting off a round of Dave Lame: Bad Magician can be as cheap as $0.20, but those that can afford it will have the option to spend up to $50.
Scientific Games mention that there are top wins of up to $250,000 possible here, which would mean that someone using the maximum bet could have it returned to him at a 5,000x multiple. It’s a good prize for a slot machine that’s using a medium volatility engine. Its RTP is also fine, at the 96% that’s been mentioned.
A Wild Logo be one of the special symbols that you will find on the slot’s reels. It’s a substitute, and it lands on all reels, where it can be a contributor to new winning combinations formed by regular symbols only.
Dave Lame’s Disappearing Act is a random feature from the base game, where the character appears on both sides of the reels. Up to 5 respins are triggered then, where the winning combinations can now form both ways, so starting from either side of the game area.
Special bonus symbols can land on the reels 1, 3, and 5. You need all three, to get yourself access to the Pick a Pot bonus game. Dave Lame: Bad Magician is a magic themed slot machine, but with a twist. This is no regular game though, as this magician doesn’t appear to be particularly good at his job. It’s a nice twist on a theme that we’ve seen a lot of times before.
