Book of Ultimate Infinity is one of the upcoming slots from Scientific Games (SG Digital), and it’s due to come out later in 2020. We’re looking forward to this one, and while it seems like it will have a Book-style action, they’ve also included the Infinity Reels from ReelPlay, a mechanic that shows a lot of promise. There is a good reason why Book-style games are popular, they are a lot of fun and potentially extremely profitable.
It doesn’t look like your typical modern slot machine, as Book of Ultimate Infinity has only 3 reels initially. The game area expands though, and it can go to as many as 50 reels, paying you for every single combo of 5+ matching symbols appearing on consecutive reels. Wins of up to $250,000 are possible, which for this game would mean a return of 5,000x the stake at the maximum bet. RTP is very good, at 96.50%. As for its features, those give us wilds, multipliers, and free spins with expanding symbols (Book-style mechanics).
All you need to do, is select the total bet which will go into the next round. $0.20 is the minimum wager which is possible, while $50 is the upper limit.
The game has plenty of potential, and it is capped at a top jackpot of $250,000. If you had the maximum bet of $50 at the time, that would mean a 5,000x the stake return. It’s a pretty good reward, especially as the RTP looks like it’s above average, at 96.50%. The only downside is that there is also high volatility to consider.
The Infinity Reels mechanic has been added by Scientific Games to Book of Ultimate Infinity, and they’ve done a great job with it. They chose a simpler 3-reel game area to start with, but it will expand by one reel for every win that you form, using 3 matching symbols on just as many reels.
You need to keep expanding the game area by getting more of those matching symbols or wilds into the mix, because you get paid for 5+ symbols. The game will take a look at the type of symbol that formed the combo, and multiply its value by the number of symbols which are in it. A multiplier will be applied as well, and its value is obtained as you expand the game area, with a 1x boost to it for each new reel.
The maximum number of reels that you can get this way, is 50.
One of the main features that are going to be incorporated in this game, the free spins are popular enough these days, that nobody’s going to be impressed that they’re present. Nonetheless, if done right, they can be extremely powerful, and it’s always a plus when we see them in a slot. To trigger them, you need to have a certain number of expanded reels, as few as 6 or as many as 15 being required, depending on the round (it’s random).
Once that happens, 10 free spins are awarded, for which you will get a special expanding symbol chosen at random. The special symbol will expand on its reels, and it could potentially mean a lot more wins formed.

Book of Ultimate Infinity looks like one of the more interesting Book-style slots that we’ve had the pleasure of checking out lately. It’s one of the few to bring real innovation to the genre, and it’s not a bad example of an Infinity Reels game either.
