Highly volatile, with big progressive jackpots and excellent rewards of its own as well, Irish Coins is a very well designed slot from Revolver Gaming, the type of game that can attract the attention of veteran players. The Irish theme doesn’t really work in its favor, it’s too common, and it doesn’t give players something fun to look forward to, but there are plenty of cool features to go around, and you might just get enough enjoyment out of those.

All in all, taking everything into consideration, a 96.20% RTP has been calculated for it, and it should be good enough for most people.

The developer mentions the slot’s potential, that it will pay as much as 12,000x the stake for a single spin. It’s impressive, especially as they also add a progressive jackpot, which can be triggered in two different ways while you’re playing (using both symbols and a feature).
With that kind of potential, the developers tend to have to use a higher volatility setting for their games, and that’s what we’re seeing here as well. It’s about a 9 out of 10 on their volatility scale (4.5 stars out of 5), so the risk is certainly there. The RTP does sit at a comfortable 96.20% though, so the game is considered fair, at least by slot machine standards.
The Pipe symbol will be the wild in this case, but it’s also paying one of the slot’s best prizes, offering 50x the stake for a full combo that it forms by itself. While everything else about the game felt like it was fresh and interesting, the theme is the one that worked the least in that direction. The Irish theme is fine normally, but it’s overused and the veterans giving this slot machine a try might just be sick of seeing the same graphics everywhere. That being said, Revolver Gaming designed a beautiful game here, it looks modern and has the right amount of details in its graphics.
