Reel Keeper Slot Machine Review

Red Tiger is the developer responsible for the release of Reel Keeper, a slot machine that delivers very interesting features, along with dragon inspired graphics. It’s a mix that plenty of players will likely be interested in, and the fact that progressive jackpots can be triggered inside, is a plus as well.

For a slot machine with 5 reels, having only 10 active lines is not a major accomplishment. The game does have a progressive jackpot that it can trigger though, along with its own rewards of over 5,000x the stake. That would explain why the RTP is at a very low value then, set to 93.78%, which I’m not sure if it includes the progressive jackpot’s contribution or not. Among the features that the game delivers, you will find the Walking Wilds and the free spins with sticky wild reels.

Betting and Prizes

Red Tiger slots will not make it difficult for you to place a wager. You have the options all placed in front of you, so you just select the amount that makes sense. The range that you can use is between $0.10 and $100, per spin.

Dragon Wilds will be introduced with Reel Keeper, a natural choice for a slot machine which focuses on these fantasy creatures. We find them as they’re added to the 5th reel, as a result of a dragon’s passing over the game area. When this happens, the reel-sized wild symbol starts moving to the left, one column at a time, until it leaves the game area. It’s even possible for Dragon Wilds to be added to the game each round, and you could end up with a game area that’s covered by such symbols. Wins of up to 1,000x the stake could come your way then. Of course, usually these will be used only as substitutes, which can contribute to all 10 active lines.

Via three Dragon Eggs that appear scattered, you can get the Dragon Spins to trigger. In this mode, the wild reels will be locked once they reach the leftmost available position (either the 1st reel, or when they hit a wild reel). You end up with one or more wild reels that are sticky for the rest of the feature, and that’s quite a powerful way to play.

Theme & Design

Reel Keeper has a fantasy theme, the way many others feature these days. The graphics are pretty good, though this category has even better looking symbols. Medieval-style symbols feature the Royals, while higher symbols give us icons with the Dragon Treasure Wild, Dragon Eggs, Dragons, Crowns, Goblets and a Dragon’s Tooth.

Conclusion

For players that want to go after a big progressive jackpot, and they’re willing to put up with the lower RTP of such a game, Reel Keeper could be an excellent choice, especially as it can pay very good rewards on its own.
