Mystic Wheel Slot Machine Review

With some fantasy added in, and a focus on a Wheel of Fortune style mechanic that’s adapted to this new design, Mystic Wheel is different enough that it could warrant a look from players. It’s particularly noteworthy that it has big potential, one of several Red Tiger video slots that does very well in this area.

On a fairly large area, with 5x4 reels spinning each round, this game offers only 30 active lines, which is lower than I like to see for such a setup. Get the right feature to activate, the one with the Mystic Wheel, and a 10,000x jackpot could potentially be yours, meaning up to $100,000 cash.

Betting and Prizes

A selection of the game’s wager will have to take into account the entire area that you play on, and it doesn’t have much to do with individual lines. Even though the slot offers 30 active lines, its wagers start from just $0.20, and end up at a maximum of $10 per spin.

A game with high volatility, Mystic Wheel promises a lot, but there is really only one part of the game that will deliver a huge amount. If you reach its bonus game, it could pay as much as 10,000x total stake, which in this case could mean $100,000 cash. However, if you check out how much you can get from its regular winning combinations, those pay at most 10x total stake each, or 300x total stake for an entire screen filled with Diamonds, hence the high volatility that I mentioned.

Mystic Wheel Game Features

A big part of the game will feel rather simple, even though there are also some unique parts introduced in it. You shouldn’t expect any of the regular features to be used, since wilds are not present, nor are any free spins to be triggered.

The Mystic Wheel is the main feature, the only one actually, and you will have two different ways to activate it. One is through a random bonus, called a Wheel Activator. This one shakes the screen and adds scatters on the reels, so you have a better chance at reaching the bonus stage.

The usual way is through scatters that will land on the reels by themselves though. The symbols need to appear at least three times, with up to five possible. Each scatter that contributed to the start of this feature will mean one spin on the Wheel, so you get up to 5 initially. The Wheel of Fortune style bonus will give you multipliers which keep taking the total up, additional wheel spins, mystery rewards or even Double All (doubles the win multipliers). It’s at this stage that you can get the highest rewards, of up to 10,000x total stake, and it’s not difficult to believe when you consider that up to 77 spins of the Mystic Wheel are possible.

Theme & Design

There is a mystic connection inside, one that’s represented mostly through enchanted rings that are shown in the high symbols, or through the golden Mystic Wheel which surrounds the game area. There are also other less relevant symbols, with card suits, but even those are very well designed. It’s not going to tell you a story, and I’ve seen better releases from Red Tiger, but it’s also clear that it’s a modern title.

Conclusion

Mystic Wheel will offer its players awesome payout potential, but its high volatility means that more often than not you’re only looking at rewards of up to 300x total stake, as only the bonus feature can deliver 10,000x payouts.
