In a game which features comic book style graphics, we’re discovering some unique choices in regards to the game area and the way it is organized. It’s Jackpot Quest, a slot machine which does not have a progressive jackpot to offer, despite that title, and which has decent potential overall, but once again nothing of the type that the title suggests.
Expect to find a game with a very large area for you to play on, with 6x6 reels spinning and getting 40 active lines for them. You win as much as 1,000x total stake per spin, and since re-spins are available as well, the potential can rise quickly. Some of the major symbols which are implemented in Jackpot Quest will include Win Respins, scatters and extra features which come via the Ruby Talisman.
The Stake option is found in the bottom left side, and it’s going to open up a menu for you, with values between $0.20 and $100. This is the total bet, which always covers all 40 active lines of Jackpot Quest.
A Golden Slot symbol, with a 777 combo on its screen, will be the one to deliver the largest payouts of this game. A combo of 6 such symbols will pay 25x total stake, or up to $2,500. With the screen filled with such symbols, there is the potential to win $100,000 per spin or re-spin.
The game has stacked symbols, but at the same time it only offers 40 lines for a huge game area, which has 36 symbols on it, so the potential combinations are a bit spread out.
A big part of the way that the game rewards you, is through the re-spins that will trigger whenever you form winning combinations with high value icons. The resulting respins will lock winning symbols in their current positions, so only the others change. If new symbols get added to the wins, then they get locked as well, and the feature continues with more respins. The respins only stop when there are no more winning symbols added. Only once this stops, does the game calculate how much it should pay you, so you get the reward at the end, not after each respin.
Ruby Talisman icons are also quite important, as scatter symbols which need to appear at the same time as a Super Symbol, in order to give you their feature.
Golden Slot: combined with a Golden Slot icon, it will give you only symbols of this type on the reels, wherever you currently have high value icons.
Satchel: turns random symbols into Satchel icons.
Whip: once again, turns random symbols into Whip icons.

Don’t go in expecting a new story, Jackpot Quest is all about adventure in long-lost temples, the kind of thing that Indiana Jones is known for. A long list of slot machines have been telling the same story, but luckily for this one, it’s doing a much better job than most of its competitors. Featuring comic-book style graphics which are impressive to look at, the game shows off both images of a hero, along with satchels, maps, whips and other related images. A lot of the times though, it’s still the Royals that will occupy a lot of positions on the reels.
Jackpot Quest has a great design, but luckily there are other things to love about it, ranging from its unusual gameplay, to the long list of features which give you variety and don’t let you get bored easily.
