An unusual slot machine, Dragon’s Luck Stacks doesn’t surprise through its theme or design, but the 10 reels that are used inside will certainly do that. It’s one of the new Red Tiger Gaming slot machines, a developer that’s proving more and more that it tries to take things to the next level and offer exciting games.
For the huge game area, with 10 reels of 6 symbols each, Dragon’s Luck Stacks has only 30 active lines that payouts may come from. On the plus side, it doesn’t care much where the winning combinations are formed. The very best wins available will pay 3,888x the stake, while as big features the game mentions the Dragon Coins and Mega Coins.
Betting and Prizes
You get the Total Stake option, which is what Red Tiger Gaming likes to do in all their games. All you have to do is select a bet that you can afford to use, and then just get the reels going. The minimum value listed is $0.20, while the maximum one is $20.
The really good rewards will come when you get certain symbols to form combinations which occupy entire lines, and up to 3,888x the stake could be paid then. It’s not easy to do that, especially with 10 symbols having to match on the same line. Even so, with the difficulty of forming winning combinations, the game has a high RTP, which they mention is set to 96.1%. Consider the use of stacked symbols in the game, as well as Mega symbols, and you can see how you could end up with a hugely profitable spin.
Dragons Luck Stacks Slot Features
First, a word about the way the game is played. Thanks to its 10 reels, there is the possibility of forming huge combinations in Dragon’s Luck Stacks. You need only three matching symbols to get the smallest reward though, and the developers allowed for these wins to form wherever they occur on a line. If you happen to have three different sets of three matching symbols on the same line, then you will get three different prizes from it. Symbols don’t need to line-up from one side or the other, they can be anywhere as long as they’re on a line together and in consecutive positions.
The other features include a Dragon Coin, which is a mystery symbol that ends up as one of the other icons of the game.
Even more importantly, these Dragon Coins can appear in mega-sized versions, of different sizes. You could even get them to cover 6x6 positions, on the middle six reels. The game’s highest potential comes true then.
That’s about it for the big features that Dragon’s Luck Stacks can deliver. It’s not doing that great in this particular area, but it’s a very unusual game with big potential, and it should be able to keep your interest.
Theme & Design
I haven’t found anything impressive in Dragon’s Luck Stacks, since the game offers a Chinese themed design and it uses appropriate symbols for it. The dragons are used in several places, including as decorations around the pillars that support the reels on both sides. Other symbols that appear include the Dragon Coins, the number 138, a character with a mask, a decorative fish and a lotus flower. Five playing cards are the last ones available among its symbols.
Dragon’s Luck Stacks gives us a common theme, but a highly unusual gameplay, and if you want to see how a 10 reels game will play, this is your chance.
