Cash or Nothing comes from Red Tiger, and it’s one of their new slot machines. Theme-wise, they went the easy route, and they simply chose money as the thing that is supposed to get your attention. This is most evident in the green that’s used for the background image and some of the symbols, while some of the other areas are going to rely on gold. A simple design overall, not much of a story there, but there are other things to make it somewhat interesting, and we will talk about those in our review.
You’re going to have 5x3 reels at your disposal. 20 active lines are going to be used when forming winning combinations, and through everything the game throws at you, a jackpot of up to 5,000x the stake could be claimed. Its RTP goes up to 95.69% for the regular version of the slot, but there is a variant with progressive jackpots included as well. Major features include the Cash Spins, and that’s about it.
Cash or Nothing is as cheap or expensive to play, as you decide it to be. The range that you’re given is between $0.10 and $20, so you can pick any value from those available there.
As for the top payouts that players can claim, they go up to 5,000x the stake, and you need the Cash Spins feature to claim that much. A version of the slot comes with progressive jackpots included, including the Daily Jackpot and the Hourly Jackpot, but their value isn’t very high.
RTP-wise, you’re looking at values that go up to 95.69%. Since that’s already below what you’d want, I recommend you look for casinos that use that setting, nothing lower. It’s a high volatility slot as well, so you will feel it when the odds are also much lower than expected.
A very popular feature lately, and present in dozens of other releases from 2021, the Hold & Win style respins will be present in Cash or Nothing as well. They take the form of the Cash Spins here, but they work in the same way for the most part.
First, you’re going to need Cash Symbols that land scattered on the reels. At least 5 are required, in order for the 3 Cash Spins to trigger. In this mode, you’re trying to land additional Cash Symbols, and whenever this happens you will find that the spins reset back to 3.
Besides the regular Cash Symbols, you can also get Frenzy symbols, which will boost all wins.
The Double Diamonds are used to double a single symbol’s value, at random.
The feature ends once you’ve collected all possible scatters, or when you’ve run out of respins.
I’ve mentioned it above, but it’s worth pointing out again, that Cash or Nothing doesn’t have much of a theme. There is that focus on green and gold, a combination that works out well for this particular theme, but otherwise, it’s a basic design.
You can see it in its symbols as well, many of them being classics. It all starts with the five low-value Royals (10 to A) and then continues with the Bronze Bar, Double Silver Bar, and the Triple Gold Bar. Only one feature trigger was included, the Cash Symbol.
Cash or Nothing is a simpler slot machine than most that we’ve seen using this sort of the main feature, but for those that prefer basic games, it could work.
