Wild Swarm is one of the new games that Push Gaming has been releasing lately, and the developer has had a lot of success with their latest batch of slots so far. While this is a low-variance game, so it’s not likely to elicit the same type of response as the high-variance Tiki Tumble did, I still believe that you’re going to have fun with it, especially with the game offering a bee inspired theme that looks cute.
In the case of Wild Swarm, the layout will feature 5x4 positions with 20 symbols visible all the time, while the number of pay lines is kept at 20. The bigger wagers will bring rewards of up to 600x the stake, so up to $60,000 may be won from a single round. You can also expect to get various wilds (regular or sticky), a bonus game, free spins, win multipliers, the Swarm Boost and the Swarm Mode.
Betting and Prizes
When you’re placing a bet, you only need to decide what the total amount will be. You’re spending anywhere from $0.20 to $100 each round, which means that for each of the 20 lines you use $0.01 to $5.
You get top wins that deliver up to 30x the stake back to you, or 600x the line bet ($3,000 per line). With that kind of reward, and the possibility to fill all positions on the reels with that symbol, you could get 20 times that value, or up to $60,000.
Wild Swarm Slot Features
The main game will benefit from a single type of wild, a regular one, but there is another such feature that is sticky for some of the other features. Either way, wilds are going to be used to replace other types of symbols, but only if they first appeared in the position where that other icon was needed to form a combo
Should you land a chest icon in view somewhere, you will trigger a bonus game through it. There are five prizes that you must choose from, and your pick will activate one of the rewards.
The picking feature, if obtained in the base game, will deliver a win multiplier, free games, the Swarm Mode or the Swarm Boost.
During free spins, the same picking feature will give you up to 5 extra spins or Sticky Wilds (Shifting Sticky Wilds or Expanding Sticky Wilds).
To get the free spins in the first place, the requirement will be to have 3 to 5 scatters with the Hive icon appear anywhere. Between 7 and 14 free games are delivered next.
Another side of the game that you will like comes in the form of Bees that can be collected in the base game. Once you collect five, it can trigger a Swarm Mode that gives you 10 free spins and sticky wilds.
Theme & Design
Wild Swarm is built on the idea of the swarm of bees and it’s a cute game that does a great job at making the action attractive. The 5x4 reels don’t occupy too much space, and instead the surrounding area shows you an old forest. Many of the symbols shown will be with bees in them, but there are also flowers, honey dollars or jars of honey. Playing cards made from highly polished wood are last on the list that’s provided.
