Tinderbox Treasures Slot Machine Review

Tinderbox Treasures is available via Playtech, and it is a slot machine with a theme that has a bit of a fairytale feel to it. There are kings and soldiers on those reels, along with a tinderbox that is magic and which makes dogs do the bidding of its owner. More on that below though.

The game’s best payouts appear to be coming via the Soldier symbol, which will form combinations and offer the player up to 250x, or $12,500. With the 5x multiplier, the highest of the game, the reward could make the jump to $62,500. There is a 96.35% average RTP that is calculated for this game, and which is a decent figure to be playing with.

Tinderbox Treasures Game Features

A total of four wild symbols are available in this game, which is surprising. There are three dogs, called Copper, Silver and Gold, plus a fourth wild during the free spins. The wilds are shown on the middle three reels only, so they are limited in that way and they can’t help you out by paying you directly since they don’t form combinations. Obviously, they can’t be replacements for the scatters, only for the ones considered regular symbols.

The three Dog Wilds have their own features to trigger, when they land on the reels. The Copper Wild will give you a Re-Spin feature, during which you get the Silver Wild replacing the Copper Wild. The Silver Wild will be two symbols high and will sport a 2x multiplier. If you get the Silver Wild to appear fully on one of the reels, it will also trigger a free re-spin, during which the Gold Wild will replace the Silver Wild. These Gold Wilds are coming in three symbol stacks, and they have a 3x multiplier.

The Tinderbox is the scatter symbol, and it is also shown only on the middle three reels. You get 10 free spins at first, with the resulting bonus game offering more free spins, stacked scatters or wild multipliers of up to 5x.

After you’re done with the free spins, you get access to a feature called Dog Spins, where all four wilds are available to you, but without their multipliers.

Theme & Design

The story behind this game tells us about a soldier that finds a magic tinderbox, one that allows him to control three very powerful dogs. There is a fantasy feel to the game, with the king, the queen, a witch and an executioner being among the major symbols available inside, right along things like playing cards.

It’s a gorgeous slot machine, considerably better than the usual titles which Playtech releases, so I think they outdid themselves with this one.

Conclusion

Tinderbox Treasures has delivered some impressive graphics, a lot of variety through its features, and it can even pay reasonably well in the long run. It’s a good game, and so I’d recommend you check it out if you get the chance.
