It’s been three years since the original game came out, but it wasn’t forgotten, and now Play n GO is giving us a sequel called Gemix 100. It has mages and gemstones, a large game area, and a Cluster Pays engine, and it’s going to be fairly enjoyable to watch.
Gemix 100 will feature gemstones for its symbols, and there is a big game area for them to land on, with 7x7 reels. The Cluster Pays engine, which is included, requires 5 to 15+ symbols grouped up. When all is said and done, the volatility of the slot is expected to be medium to high, but it can still pay up to 25,000x the stake in one round. Of course, the RTP should be at 96.20% if you can find a version at that level. For its features, there are cascades, various wilds, multipliers, and modifiers from the Crystal Charge.
This slot machine has a betting range that starts at $0.10 and can reach a $100 maximum.
It’s not extremely volatile (about an 8/10 rating), but it can pay extremely well. 25,000x the round’s stake is the amount it is capable of delivering on the rare occasion where a player manages to hit that ceiling.
Like a lot of other slots, there is an RTP range, and while it goes up to 96.20% you’re not guaranteed to get that version everywhere.
The 7x7 reels in Gemix 100 will offer you 49 symbols each round. To win, you need 5+ matching symbols to land next to each other. Connections between symbols can be made horizontally and/or vertically. Cascading reels will trigger and remove winning symbols after each cluster forms so that new symbols can replace them (for a chance at more wins).
Randomly, you may get the World Wilds to appear in the game area during losing spins. There is a unique wild for each world. Up to 10 wilds are added, and they can be sticky, or they can spread from one edge to the other.
There are patterns listed randomly on the right side. Clear symbols in that pattern to get a boost to the multiplier by 5x. This also helps take you to different magical worlds. 100x is the limit to its multiplier (1x is the boost given after each winning cluster forms).
There is also the Crystal Charge, which you trigger by getting 25 winning symbols in a round. You can get various modifiers here (Nova Blast, Crystal Warp, Light Beam, and Chain Lightning).
While the background image shows you various magical worlds as you travel through them, the reels are going to be filled with gemstones, a total of 8 regular symbols being used there. It’s not the best design around, but it’s cute and it does the job without being obnoxiously sweet.
Gemix 100 has that awesome top prize for you to think about, as you’re playing it and giving it a shot. It’s not a typical slot machine, which should be a pro for someone looking for something different to play.
