Ding Dong Death is not a very appealing slot design-wise, but it's not uncommon for Nolimit City to create games that feature undead creatures that look completely mental. It's what we're offered here as well, in this black-and-white slot that appears to have gotten its design style from early-era cartoons, probably from the first half of the 20th century.
Designed with 6x3 reels, Ding Dong Death has 729 ways to win. It pays up to 14,280x the stake, but it also has very high volatility, and the RTP only goes up to 95.83%. As for the features you can get, they include modifiers such as xNudge, xSplit, or xTra, along with the Ding Dong Spins and the Ding Dong Death Spins.
For the complete betting range of Ding Dong Death, you will have options ranging from $0.20 to $100 to choose from.
The big prize offered in Ding Dong Death could bring you 14,280x the round's stake. It's a healthy top prize, but not one of the more interesting options from Nolimit City. Its RTP range's highest setting is 95.83%, which is lower than I'd want it to be. As for the game's volatility, it's at an extremely high level (10/10 rating).
One of the things to mention is the Death Meter. It has 5 levels, and you use Avalanches (triggered after you form winning combinations) to level up. For every 3 Avalanches, you get a new level. At that point, a random character will turn into a wild in all positions it occupies for that spin. Get to level 5 to unlock a 2x multiplier, and then each time you do it again, it goes up by 1x. You can also get a random feature/modifier at that point.
The xNudge Wild is a substitute symbol that lands and then drops to the bottom of the reel. The number of symbols it goes through along the way decides what kind of multiplier boost it gets. After it reaches the bottom, it expands and occupies the reel it is on.
Get 3+ matching symbols aligned in a row, without a winning combination being formed, and Knock Knock triggers. Mental Patients replace the triggering symbols, and then the other symbols in the game area explode, giving you new symbols as a result.
You sometimes get the option to buy an xTra Spin when a round is at the end. This paid spin comes with the same multiplier and Death Meter level as the previous spin.
If there are 3 to 5 scatter symbols on the reels, you receive 7 to 11 Ding Dong Spins, where the multiplier and the Death Meter go only up, resetting only at the end.
When there are 6 scatter symbols present, you get 13 Ding Dong Death Spins instead. You get the features of the regular free spins, plus a higher global multiplier, by 1x for each Death Meter level you unlocked. There is also the xNudge Wild Multiplier that will improve the global multiplier.
Ding Dong Death looks like a horror version of an early cartoon, with undead former mental patients locked inside. It's not pretty to look at, and I'd call it disturbing, but there is a lot of attention to detail, and if you tend to enjoy the graphics offered by Nolimit City, then this is another one like that.
Ding Dong Death looks like an excellent slot to check out for Halloween, or at any other time if you're really into the horror genre. Nolimit City did an excellent job with the scary look, but the list of special features is not as long as in other games of theirs.
