The collaboration between Microgaming and All41Studios has produced yet another slot machine, this time one that’s called Wanted Outlaws Nobleways. It’s not going to surprise theme wise, since it has the expected Wild West approach, but the Nobleways system is still fairly new, and it’s worth looking into.
Wanted Outlaws Nobleways gives the player 5x5 reels and a total of 3125 Nobleways, or ways to win. You’re playing for a chance to get a prize of up to 2,500x the stake, in a slot whose RTP is 96.41%, so acceptable when it comes to paying back its players. Whether it’s wilds, scatters or free spins with Wanted Poster bonuses, there are a couple of good features that you can take advantage of.
The range for Wanted Outlaws and its bets, will start at a minimum of $0.10 and reach a maximum of $100. This activates all the ways to win that are available in the game.
The game does fairly well in paying its players, with wins of up to 2,500x the stake announced for a single spin. At the same time, I didn’t appreciate the game’s high volatility, as it doesn’t quite fit the top payout possible in the game. That’s just a matter of preference ultimately though, since the RTP is coming in at a very healthy 96.41%, so we know that players get the same odds as in most of the other new slots.
Another thing to mention, is the very high hit frequency, which gives you a win for every two spins, on average. The fact that the game pays often should explain the low top payouts actually.
Sheriff Wilds slot are among those used to make the game interesting. These are substitutes which can be used in new winning combinations. Unfortunately, you only get them during free spins and on the last four columns.
Mainly, it’s about the free spins in this game. You trigger the feature with 10 to 25 rounds, and to get there you need the Sheriff’s Badge landing scattered on 3 or more reels. The addition of the Sheriff Wild is important for the free spins, but that’s not all you’re getting.

To win the values written on those posters, you need the Sheriff Wild to show up that round. The total amount from those posters is paid for each wild that is visible, so the wins can get to very high levels at this point.
In a slot machine with a Wild West theme, we’re finding the usual graphics that are associated with such slots. You’re going to discover that the Sheriff can be a symbol at times, as is the Badge scatter, or the Wanted Posters. For the most part though, what you’re looking at is a mix of low value Royals and Western themed higher paying symbols (Pistols, Gloves, Hats, Boots, Rope with Horseshoe).
A decent enough design overall, but given the size of this category and the available competition, you should have no trouble finding one that looks a lot better.
Wanted Outlaws Nobleways slot looks like it can be a lot of fun, and the high hit frequency contributes to this. The base game can use it as well, since there are no features there, with the exception of the scatters that will bring on the free spins. Once you get into that mode, the slot becomes a lot more interesting. It adds Wanted Posters and wilds, so the potential to pay well is higher as well.
Overall, a good game from Microgaming and All41Studios, and I think it’s worth checking out if you don’t mind the high volatility that’s combined with only average top jackpots.
