Diamond Inferno Slot
Play 🎰 Diamond Inferno Slot for Real Money
Available via Microgaming, and designed by Triple Edge Studios as an exclusive release, Diamond Inferno will deliver a classic theme and a fire covered area, all while implementing a couple of features that are quite unusual for this type of look. Add the excellent top payouts that are possible, at least in theory, and you’re getting quite a bit from this game.
Diamond Inferno has 5x3 reels and 20 active lines, but there is the possibility to get it bigger, up to 5x6 reels getting up to 50 active lines then. You have your chance at one of its better prizes at that point, especially since multipliers of up to 10x can be unlocked eventually. The most that the game pays is 11,750x the stake, which is impressive in a slot machine with only Medium volatility and a 32.10% hit frequency. RTP is set to 96.19%, which is good. The features include the re-spins, reel expansions, multipliers and scatters.
Betting and Prizes
You may select the bet for an upcoming round, between $0.20 and $20. There is no option to use only some of the lines, you always place your wager on all 20.
As for the payouts that the game can deliver, wins of up to 100x the stake are delivered per line. Once you take into account the game’s increasing number of lines, as well as their multipliers, the top jackpot of up to 11,750x the stake shouldn’t be a surprise. What’s surprising, is that this is possible in a game with Medium volatility, where re-spins trigger often. RTP is set to 96.19%, which I appreciated.
A game like this, which is capable of paying a lot, and yet it has a high hit frequency, will typically offer you a lot of smaller wins most of the time. There is still plenty of risk associated with it, but at least you’re going to get paid something on a regular basis, and there is some potential for awesome returns, even though they’re not very likely.
Diamond Inferno Slot Features
It might not look like it initially, but Diamond Inferno is designed to deliver some very cool features, and they are going to come quite often your way.
Actually, every single win that you form, will be followed by a re-spin feature. It will boost the game area, adding one row to it, as well as 10 extra lines. This can keep happening, and if new combinations are formed, then you can even get up to 5x6 reels with 50 lines eventually.
Once the game area is fully expanded, you start using the Multiplier Trail, seen at the top. You get a 2x multiplier, then a 3x, 5x and finally a 10x one.
Diamond scatter symbols can also appear, and their role in this game is to get you paid. You win 1x to 20x the stake for each symbol, depending on the row where it shows up. The middle columns are the only ones that can get these unusual scatters.
The Wild Logo is the substitute that you’d expect, present on the middle three reels and landing either regular-sized or stacked. You can use it as part of any of the regular combinations.
Theme & Design
Diamond Inferno is a fire themed game, and you see huge flames rising up from the bottom, and covering even the sides of the reels. The symbols are classic ones though, a mix of Royals and others with Lucky 7s, Dice, Gold Bars, Dollar Signs, Stars and Wild Logos. It’s not a great design, pretty much what you’d expect from a classic.
Diamond Inferno might not get players to try it out based on its graphics alone, but I think that the features it includes will get the attention even of those that typically prefer modern releases.
