The game engine is called ClusterChase, but it’s just a regular Cluster Pays option. It has 6x6 reels, so 36 symbols total. You must get at least 5 matching symbols in a cluster, which are adjacent in either the vertical or horizontal direction. Once a cluster gets formed, the symbols are removed, and the slot allows new ones to come down. If new clusters form, you get paid again, and the cascades continue.
Stacked Wild Candy symbols occupy up to 3 positions on a reel. They’re added to the reels randomly, and up to three can show up simultaneously. These are going to be used as replacement symbols.
The Wild Meter relies on forming regular clusters of symbols to get filled. The theme is candy-inspired, with the usual mix of symbols and graphics. There are four low-value card suit icons and four candy for the premium positions. It’s pastel-colored and almost too sweet, but some players like it.
Overall, Candy Rush Wilds demo seems to have a couple of good arguments to make for itself, such as the complex and potentially profitable mechanics, some of them even making the base game interesting.
