Scrooge’s Jackpot has been created by Leander Games as a slot machine to be played during the Christmas holidays, the story being an old one, revolving around a novel called A Christmas Carol, from Charles Dickens.
In Scrooge’s Jackpot, the player has 5x3 reels and 20 fixed pay lines. He is using wild symbols, free spins, bonus games and scatters for features, while the payouts promised inside will be coming from a progressive jackpot or from a fixed reward of up to $5,000.

The Candle is the one that’s going to be used as the wild feature. Have it appear alone on an active pay line, and it has the ability to form a combination with the other symbols found there, provided that they are of the same type. The wild just takes whatever role is needed of it, to be included in the combo. Ideally, you would get two to five wild Candles appear on their own, from left to right on a line, so that they can pay you up to 500x. There is only one symbol that wilds can’t substitute for, and that’s the bonus symbol.
Scrooge, which you will have as a companion next to the reels, can start adding wild columns to the game area at any point. This feature is called Candle Wilds.
Next, you can also get a feature from the bonus symbol, which may appear only on the reels 2, 3 and 4. Those three reels need to have scatters at the same time, or you don’t get anything out of them. The feature’s name is Festive Feast. It’s a pick me style feature, where you have to choose from the available turkeys, in order to reveal different Christmas Eve elements. Once you fill one of the elements, you get its prize.
Another feature has the free spins as its ultimate goal. The required scatter symbols are positioned on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels. Together, they will trigger 7 free spins, which benefit each round from the Candle Wilds feature.
The story with Scrooge and his transformation from non-believer to a fan of Christmas has been popular this time of year for a very long time. Christmas wouldn’t be the same without Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”. The story is being told on the reels through the symbols of the three ghosts and with that of Scrooge’s dead associate.
