Among the new releases offered by Leander Games, Kraken Conquest looks like a very interesting slot machine. It’s got a Steampunk style design, it reminds us of Captain Nemo and Jules Verne’s 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, and it’s just a well crafted game which should be a lot of fun to play through.

You can expect for a 5x3 reels game area to be available, along with 25 paylines that wins can be paid on. Quite a few features have been announced for it, including bonus games, free spins, scatters, wilds and a couple of others (Lightning Strikes, Kraken Slap).

Kraken Conquest Slot Features

The combinations being formed in Kraken Conquest get to pay you when appearing either left to right, or right to left, with 3+ symbols.

Lightning Strike is a random feature, which will give you an instant cash prize when triggered, a quick way to make a round profitable.

Kraken Slap gets you a wild reel, so several wild symbols appear at the same time, making it much more likely that one or more combinations will be formed.

Kraken Conquest is the slot’s bonus feature, where you collect tentacles with different multipliers, in a special meter. As you advance, you lose lives or gain new ones, you collect prizes and you try to reach the stage where you fight against the Kraken, for the ultimate reward.

Free spins are part of the game as well, they trigger via 3+ scatters and they provide you with multipliers that can improve your wins.

Theme & Design

Taking us under the ocean’s surface, Kraken Conquest looks like a Steampunk-style slot machine, which has an underwater exploration theme. We see men in bulky diver suits, a ship’s wheel, treasure chests, gems and other related symbols, though there are elegant Royals landing on the reels as well. All in all, I found the design of Kraken Conquest to be one of the most enjoyable things about it, but then again I’m a  fan of the Steampunk genre.
