In Gem Zone, we find a new Leander Games release, a slot machine which might have gemstones for main symbols, but at the same time we discover unique new features, including here especially the Dynamic Ways system, which promises a range of ways to win. Scheduled for release in November 2019, it’s a game with pretty graphics, using mostly gemstones and crystals as major symbols inside.

With 5x5 reels available in the game area, we find that Gem Zone will feature up to 3125 ways to win (Dynamic Ways system) in the base game. Things change for the free spins, where 6 reels and up to 117,649 ways become possible. Along the way, the game will use a variety of features, among which they added wilds, plus scatters and free spins. A game which will pay up to 10,000x total bet, Gem Zone will be quite generous, despite the high volatility. RTP wise, the game will pay back 95.80%, which is not that great.

Betting and Prizes

The game’s betting system will require the use of 20 coins, where denominations range from $0.01 to $10. This way, you spend as little as $0.20 to spin the reels, or as much as $200, it’s up to you ultimately.

Theme & Design

As for the main theme, it’s not a very unique one, as gemstones and crystals have been part of too many new slots over the years. Still, we get pretty graphics and a good overall design. There is a bit of a futuristic look to the way these symbols have been implemented, with Royals using neon-style outlines and with gemstones coming in different shapes and colors. Several feature symbols have been implemented as well, including here the W Logo Star and the Bonus Planet.

Conclusion

Gem Zone is no typical slot machine, and the Dynamic Ways system might just pay off for Leander, but they should’ve done a better job with the RTP, if they wanted to give this game every chance to succeed.
