It’s the story of Jack and the magic beanstalk that we’re getting in Iron Dog’s latest slot, Megaways Jack. Winning combinations will form when landing on 3+ consecutive reels, left to right. A chain reaction occurs then, and it helps bring new waves of symbols, to replace the ones removed.
The wild symbol is quite helpful, but you will not get it to form combinations of its own. The reason for this is that it only appears on the last 5 reels, so the 1st reel doesn’t get it.
As you play Megaways Jack, there are four random modifiers which can trigger at any moment, coming via the Harp you see on the left. Among these modifiers, there are the 1-4 additional wilds which can show up as you’re going through cascading reels, multipliers which will get up to 5x, additional positions on the cloud or beanstalk, or re-spins.
A special mechanic will involve the magic beans, which may appear during the cascading reels. From each bean, you get to advance by 1 to 3 spots on the beanstalk. It’s a game which uses a theme that we’ve seen before in slots, but for the Megaways games category there aren’t any competitors for it yet. It’s a very well designed game as well, with high end graphics and a variety of themed symbols, along with the Royals which are of lesser value. The high symbols come with images of Jack, his mother, the giant, golden goose and the cow.
Megaways Jack looks like a game that players can definitely have some fun with. It’s got the right graphics, excellent potential, a good enough mix of features, and the RTP is at just the right level, so that it’s not an issue.
