Sevens Staxx Slot Review
|Betting Range (€/$)||0.50 - 50|
Sevens Staxx is a game where Greentube attempts to mix a bit from both worlds, with the oldies providing the classic theme, while the modern side consists of excellent features and a type of layout with ways to win that has become quite popular in recent years.
It’s one of the slots with medium volatility from Greentube, and it has 5x4 reels and 1024 ways to win, as part of the so-called Allpay system that this company uses. Whether it’s the Bonus Wheel, the Sevens Staxx bonus, or the various scatters present inside, there should be enough modern features to satisfy most players. One thing that I wasn’t as excited about, the 95.16% RTP is at a level that would make plenty of people not consider the game. A 200x top prize is about the best that it will do, and it’s the fixed jackpots that offer this much.
Betting and Prizes
You have 50 coins to use for the game’s round, and wagers will start from as little as $0.50 per spin. You take it up from there, up to $50 for a single spin if you want to.
This is considered a game with medium volatility, so the risk is not extremely high, but it’s still there. Fixed jackpots are provided, with the Grand paying 200x the round’s stake, while the Minor pays 50x, and the Mini pays 30x the stake.
You could very well get better rewards with the help of regular symbols, those offering you up to 4x the stake on each line/way to win. A lot of ways to win would contribute there, though there is no mention of where the cap is. If there isn’t one, then wins of up to 4,096x are possible.
The part that I’m really not happy about, would be the game’s RTP, which is at a below average 95.16%.
Sevens Staxx Slot Features
A big part of the game will come from its Seven symbols, which show up in white, red or blue variants, for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th reels. Access to the special feature, Sevens Staxx, is obtained when one of the stacked Sevens covers a full reel. Depending on which color you got, you can get access to a feature that can trigger the Mini Jackpot (White Sevens), Minor (Blue Sevens) or Grand (Red Sevens).
You will discover that the upcoming feature has the reel expanding, followed by 3 respins. Land more 7s on the reels, to reset the number of respins. Once you use up all respins, or when you have 7s on all reels, the feature ends. One of the three fixed jackpots can be triggered this way.
The other major feature is the Bonus Wheel. It’s a wheel of fortune style feature, to which you can get by landing Wheel icons on the 1st and 5th reels. Once again, you can get one of the fixed jackpots this way, or one of the smaller rewards, of up to 20x the stake.
Theme & Design
The theme is a classic one, related to fruits and other symbols of that nature. The stars here are the Sevens, which land stacked on the reels, and which have three variants (white, blue, red). Additional symbols include a bonus wheel, plus bells, cash, watermelon, plums, oranges, lemons and cherries, all expected out of a classic game.
Sevens Staxx is a decent enough slot, but with a classic theme that’s not going to be particularly interesting. If you don’t care about the story in your games, then it could work for you. Keep in mind though, RTP wise it’s at only 95.16%, so the odds that you will make a profit are even lower than in other new slots.
