Diamond Link: Oasis Riches Slot
Diamond Link: Oasis Riches is one of Greentube’s new slot machines, a fun addition to their collection of games, which combines the Ancient Egyptian theme with progressive jackpots and plenty of other decent features. It’s not all sunshine and rainbows, there are cons as well to mention in its case, and you can read all about them below.
The game’s setup seems to be fairly standard, relying on 5x3 reels and giving us 25 active lines. You get top prizes of up to 750x the stake directly, and additional wins which come in the form of progressive jackpots from the Diamond Link network. Guaranteed wins for its free spins, collected Diamonds, scatters and wilds, there is something for everyone in the game’s list of features. RTP wise, the game is set to a disappointing 95.01%.
Betting and Prizes
The game takes into account the fact that 25 lines are present inside, and allows you to spend $0.25 to $125 each round. This means that for each active line, you have a wager between $0.01 and $5 that you can use.
Two different symbols have the ability to pay the game’s top prize, of 750x the stake, but the one with the Pharaoh riding a horse is more likely, since it’s a double-stacked symbol. The other one is the wild symbol, showing us Cleopatra’s Eyes.
An even better alternative will come from the progressive jackpot that you’re working towards, the four which are provided in the Diamond Link network. The names of the four are Grand, Major, Minor and Mini.
Ultimately, the game is expected to have an RTP of 95.01%, out of which 1% goes to the progressive jackpot. It’s not a very high number, and while it seems typical for a slot with such a prize, it’s not something that I appreciate.
Diamond Link Oasis Riches Slot Features
Cleopatra’s Eyes will be the symbol acting as a substitute, capable of forming wins when appearing next to regular symbols. Together, they can form a combo, provided that the requirements for it are met (3+ matching symbols, left to right, on the same line). It’s also the second symbol that will form its own wins, and can pay as much as the jackpot Pharaoh symbol.
Blue Diamonds are scatters here, and getting at least 6 in view will trigger 3 free spins, where the Diamond Link bonus is active. These diamonds are turned into Pink Diamonds as the feature starts, and they are locked in their positions. Get any new Pink Diamonds after that, to reset the number of free spins, back to the original 3. The aim is to get as many of these diamonds as possible, you’re not forming regular combinations here. The three lower progressive jackpots can be paid through these pink diamonds, when their logo appears on one of them.
To get the Grand Jackpot, you need 15 Pink Diamonds covering the reels, at the end of the free spins.
There is also a more regular version of the free spins, with 7 rounds triggered when 3 Oasis scatters land on the middle columns. Blue Diamonds land and don’t reset once collected in the meter, so you find it easier to trigger the progressive jackpot feature.
Theme & Design
It’s a typical Ancient Egypt theme, one that doesn’t bring much that is new to this category. Graphics are sort of average as well, so that’s not going to save it either. As symbols, there will be diamonds, an oasis, Cleopatra’s Eyes, a double-stacked pharaoh that’s riding a horse, bracelets, sandals and feathers or earrings. Otherwise, you end up with Royals in the bottom positions.
It’s a boring game mostly, so the progressive jackpots are the ones working hard to save it, and that might be enough for some players.
