Five big animals of the African safari, along with five progressive jackpots which correspond to each one, will be the offer that Greentube is making with their latest release. Big Five takes us to a type of place that we visited before, at least in other similar slot machines, though thanks to its progressives I’d say that this one does have a claim to make for itself, that it’s going to do better than its competitors.

Reel Respins can be present during the free games. You need a single type of animal symbol to take over the 1st reel completely, to get the feature triggered.
For the following respin, you will get the triggering symbols which were on reel 1, along with other instances of that animal symbol and all wilds, to become locked.
The other positions respin, and keep doing this for as long as new matching symbols land. It’s going to make it just a bit more likely to fill the reels with matching animal symbols, and to win a progressive jackpot.
I didn’t find the game’s theme to be all that special, it’s actually a fairly common choice that developers have been making for their slots. African safaris will focus on the same five big animals usually, and we see them as premium symbols in this game. The Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard are present, along with five low value Royals (10-A) and the feature triggers (Wild Mask and Map scatter).
Big Five slot might not be all that unique overall, especially theme wise, but I did enjoy the way it focuses on getting top symbols to fill up the reels. It even enlists the help of respins during the free spins, to get you closer. On the other hand, those progressive jackpots are very low, the RTP is well below the average, and overall I feel like there are enough games which give you better odds. Thus, going with Big Five doesn’t really make sense.
