One of Gamomat’s new games, Back to the Fruits will indeed attempt to take us back in time, featuring a fruit/classic style set of symbols. At the same time, we’re seeing a more modern setup than you would’ve gotten from slots in the distant past. Overall though, the first impression will be that of an older game, even though it’s released in 2019.

Back to the Fruits gets 5 reels and 5 lines, which is about the smallest number of winning combinations that you will find in a modern game. Wilds and 3x multipliers are the two features which were introduced in Back to the Fruits, but otherwise you don’t get anything too exciting. With a win of up to $45,000 per spin, this slot looks pretty good in terms of the return it offers (7500x total stake).

Betting and Prizes

You set up a bet in this case by picking the total amount going into the next round. It’s an option which is located in the bottom left corner, and it has a range between $0.10 and $6. Since it covers 5 active lines, you’re wagering between $0.02 and $1.20 for each one.

Even though wagers are on the small side, the game can pay quite well. In fact, its top paying combo offers 500x total stake back on each line. Add the possibility of 3x multipliers, and the boost to the game’s rewards is significant. Back to the Fruits Game Features

You’re going to get only a couple of features in Back to the Fruits, and they’re the type that will help improve the gameplay and winnings for you, without being too modern.

First, there is the wild symbol, a Diamond which you’re going to be able to have as part of winning combinations which are formed on the slot’s lines. There is a downside here, as this fairly simple wild is limited further, being able to only appear on the reels 2 and 4.

The Multiplier is the other feature which the game relies on, and it appears to be a more important one. It’s going to be available on reel 3, and it will take the form of regular symbols which get an extra x3 logo added to them. These count as multipliers only for the combinations formed with other symbols of the same type (a 7 with a x3 multiplier boosts wins for combinations with 7 symbols).

Theme & Design

Now, for the game’s theme, we have a simple focus on fruits and several other classic symbols. There is nothing new here, we’ve seen all these symbols in hundreds of other slot machines, and the design is only average-looking as well. As for the symbols which you actually get to see, there is the Diamond Wild, along with regular symbols such as 7s, bells, watermelon, grape, orange, lemon or cherries. The regular symbols all have another variant, with a x3 logo, which you sometimes see on the 3rd reel as a multiplier.

Conclusion

Back to the Fruits is not a modern slot machine, but it’s not intended to be one anyway. It’s a game with decent features, considering the kind of classic experience it’s aiming to provide.
