In a game which seems to borrow heavily from the Irish culture and from the stories that are told in it, Rainbow Luck, we’re seeing the latest EGT release and a slot machine which incorporates a range of features and mostly average graphics. It also has fairly low rewards, but I appreciated the presence of a 96% RTP inside.

As for the payouts that the game gets to deliver, wild symbols offer the most, up to 10x the stake on each line. Get them to cover all lines on the 5 reels, and you could walk away with a payout of 250x the stake. It’s an average payout, not at all impressive in a slot which has medium volatility. On the other hand, we know that the RTP is 96%, so the slot’s doing alright in giving the players back some of their money as winnings.
The four-leaf Clover is your wild symbol, the one that can pay the big prizes in this game, and which is also a substitute that will work with all other types of symbols. The exception to the rule is the scattered Pot of Gold.
Landing the Pot of Gold scatters is possible on the middle three reels. They pay you a small prize then, plus they trigger 10 or 30 free spins as well. To get the maximum number of rounds, you need the scatters all landing in the Boost Win Zone.
The Boost Win Zone is an area that surrounds the middle positions on the reels 2, 3 and 4. Land a wild Clover there, and it will stretch to cover all neighboring positions, even if they’re outside the Zone. Land scatters in those three locations, to triple the number of free spins triggered.
It’s not much of a theme, the Irish genre has seen a lot of other slot machines which are very similar in their approach to the symbols, and often enough with better designs as well. Still, there is a lot of green and beautiful flowers in its surrounding graphics, and on the reels you get symbols that include Royals (J to A), a Green Hat, Toadstools, Ladybugs, Leprechauns, Lucky Lady, Pot of Gold and a Clover.
Rainbow Luck is going to get the player’s attention mostly through its Boost Win Zone, the only part of it that feels a bit more unique and interesting. Of course, the RTP is at the right level as well, so if you’re not the type to want only games with big jackpots, this game may work out.
