Book of Sun Multichance is a sequel to another slot machine from Booongo, a very popular title, which took us on a trip to Ancient Egypt, and then promised rewards of up to 5,000x total stake. With the sequel, they’re improving on an already good recipe, and now the slot can pay 10,000x total stake at most.
Book of Sun Multichance keeps a lot of the things that were great in the previous title, like the 5 reels & 10 lines, the presence of wilds, free spins, and expanding symbols, but it also improves payouts, which can now reach 10,000x total stake. It’s an impressive game, though it’s also a highly volatile option.
You will get your chance to pick a wager that looks good to you, the list starting from a minimum of $0.10, then going to $10 or higher.
The game’s Book of Ra style mechanics insure that winning on all active lines at the same time is definitely a possibility, particularly when you’ve got the free spins triggered. Additional features, which enhance the number of special symbols in use, will improve the chances further, to get the ultimate top payout. It’s going to be worth up to 10,000x total stake, which has the potential to be huge for anyone. As far as slot machines are concerned, this type of reward is excellent, and there aren’t too many slots that can go that high.
Don’t expect big payouts to come easily to you, it’s not something that is possible. Expect a game with high volatility, which may disappoint a lot of players, though at the same time it has the potential to make a couple of them extremely happy.
At its core, Book of Sun has been a clone of the Book of Ra slot, featuring the Book icons, along with the special abilities which were made popular in that old game. The book serves both as your wild and scatter symbol, and when appearing on the reels it can be used in both roles.
As a wild symbol, you need to have it appear next to regular symbols of the same type, so that they can create a win, going from left to right on one of the active lines.
As a scatter, it can deliver some rewards to you, while at the same time working towards triggering the free spins. You will need those 3 or more Book scatters on the reels, but luckily it’s not important where exactly they land.
Once the free spins begin, you get a special symbol chosen out of the regular ones, and it gains the ability to expand and take over the reel that it is on. The new feature that this game adds, allows for additional expanding symbols to be chosen, whenever you retrigger the free spins. You could end up with all regular symbols turned into special icons, the game has no limitations in that area.
It’s not much of a theme if we’re being honest. The original Book of Ra was based on Ancient Egypt, so 90% of the clones you will see have the same type of story. The design is decent, but once again, there are many others that do this theme better than Booongo does here. Symbols include the Book, the Pharaoh, along with Royals and representations of Horus, the bird god.
Book of Sun Multichance definitely looks like an improvement over the original game from Booongo, particularly payout-wise, since it can now deliver up to 10,000x total stake. While it’s a game with high volatility as well, that’s something appreciated these days, provided that the payouts match the difficulty.
