Like with a lot of other slot machines that I’d consider modern, I found the rewards to be more than satisfactory, at least if we’re going by the top jackpot. A 50,000x jackpot is only the best-case scenario though, and not an amount that a lot of players would see. It’s going to be capped at $250,000. I loved hearing about the medium volatility of the slot, especially since the rewards can be so high.
There are significant downsides as well though, and here I’d mention the 95% RTP, which tells us that the odds are not that great for the player, at least compared with what we’re seeing in other modern slots.

You will notice that prizes are shown there, along with the required number of scatters that will trigger them. It’s the Instant Cashpot, and it’s one of the more powerful features that this game has to offer.

The inspiration for Wish Upon a Cashpot has come from fairy tales in general, not from a particular story. We see characters in there who come from different stories, but there is no particular focus on one of them. The Golden Egg and the Story Book are scatters, while a Magic Castle is a wild. There are images of a Prince, of Rapunzel (or some other blonde princess), of Puss in Boots, and then of four low-paying Royals as well. The 3D style graphics are fine, though not the best I’ve seen for this sort of design.
Overall, I found Wish Upon a Cashpot to be an interesting new slot release, mostly because of how good its payouts can be, and even thanks to some of its features. I’m not a fan of that 95% RTP though, and I’d recommend the slot only if you really like what it offers in other areas.
